So thanks to everyone who answered my question about the tactical perfection stratagem and whether it could be used to redeploy units into strategic reserves.
My new questions are:
1) Can you use tactical perfection to get around the restriction on the number of units and/or points you can place into strategic reserves/reinforcements?
For example, suppose 50% of my army consists of warp talons, I place them all in deep strike, then (just before the game begins) I decide to use tactical perfection to place *another* unit that I deployed on the board into reserve.
Is this legal on the basis that I am doing it *after* step 10 where you declare reinforcements and transports? I suspect not, but I'd be interested to know as I have a tournament coming up.
2) If I use tactical perfection to place a unit into strategic reserves (a unit of cultists, say), do I need to pay additional CP to place that unit into strategic reserves on top of the 1CP I already spent on tactical perfection?
If I don't then it seems pretty mental as it would mean I could put a unit into strategic reserve for less CP than it would cost to do it normally *and* without having to declare in advance.
Thanks in advance.
