Hi there,

1. Not sure if this is the spot to ask this as I am terrible with formus and navigating them.
2. Been looking online and can't find an answer
3. Hoping someone here can point me in right direction or give me a straight answer

I am looking into the tabletop simulator and getting warhmmer to play on it. What I want to know is what all do I get with it? Like to I have to then buy my armies on top of that? Or do they come with it?

There is no official AoS support for TTS, its all community stuff. So people make 3D models you can add to the fame through the workshop. They're of variable quality, you just have to search through it and try and find what you need. Same for any terrain you might want to use.

Then it's a case of setting up a board and rolling some dice.

I've used TTS for a few games, but not actually played AoS with it myself, so hopefully someone else can give you some more specific tips!

You'll want to use the steam workshop to download boards, armies, and whatever else you may need to play warhammer.

I'd suggest subscribing to DQ Age of Sigmar 3.0 in the workshop, this will provide the basic rules for the game, tokens, and a board generator to play games on. It also includes an auto dice rolling tablet which is quite handy.

For armies and models I would download this mod https://aos-tts.github.io/Stormvault/. It provides models for all the armies as well as datacards with info from wahapedia and allows you to quickly see rules while hovering over the cursor over a model.

Hope this helps.

I would caution you to not. We looked into this during the pandemic and it was a god awful nightmare to set everything up. Our groups average time spent playing one game was over five hours, and after three weeks we abandoned it and just went back to instore with face masks.
