I get it. I mean, GW releases models that are in the correct scale for an Epic game and fans start injecting Hopeium right into their veins.

From what I understand, Epic is something that cannibalizes from regular 40k. Yeah they're different systems and scales and such, but why sell two wargames where the only visual difference is the size? Customers get confused.

On top of that, a challenge that GW would have is competing with 3d printers that have already given Epic a new life and new detail. At such a tiny size, 3d printing ends up being a whole heck of a lot more viable for a lot more people. Why start producing a new game when half of your new product line would be so easily replicated?

It just doesn't make sense. Aeronautica was a bid at trying to catch the people falling off from X-Wing 2nd edition and Titanicus is a game geared more towards fans that are bored of Battletech. That's really all there is to it.

I just saw a pic on the loot group for a Mugruk Da Watcher, a Kruelboyz mini.

I'm on my phone so can't repost it yet, but I can't remember seeing him before?

He was, from what was said, made available to people at the GW stand. The person who posted that photo was told that today was the first event it would be on sale.

They also said the 40k one would be available tomorrow.

Watching the stream. Wade Pryce is so much better host than Adam Troke. It's astonishing actually. I find this stream much more palatable than usual

Of course no word on battletomes so there's no quarantee those comes fast. But hopefully those are following soon as well. DOK would be odd one to get new book so soon but GW works in GW's way and maybe they could do with bit of toning down(and morathi could do with rethinking to be less annoying to deal with)

That gladiatrix is 90% of the way to being a DE succubus. May grab one to do that when it comes out as a single.
