I think you got the wounds count right, 2 models wounded, number of wounds d6, but can max only be the amount of wounds of the model in total.
So Rolling a 6 and a 2 means that one minotaur gets 3 wounds (his max wounds) and one gets 2.
Hits are distributed, not wounds.

Yeah too bad you couldn't play it to a proper end but life gets in the way sometimes,
We're all not 14 anymore and can sit in the basement for 2 days straight.
By the way did you hear the news?
