I am itching to get this new box. It is pricey… but looks worth it.
Here is the link to Wayland from where I usually order hobby stuff these days
https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/warhammer-40000-terrain/88757-zone-mortalis-underhive-sector
Trouble is I am not familiar with these models. Would be used for 40k, eventually, and most likely 99% of the time simply sit as display…
So, those who know the range better, talk to me, in or out on this kit?

Zone Mortalis: Underhive Sector contents:

Spoiler:
Collecting together a host of Zone Mortalis scenery kits to build a total of 106 pieces of highly detailed terrain – every element of which is designed to be compatible or interchangeable with the others – this box is your one-stop shop for building a Necromunda table with multiple tiers and elevations.

There's no need to limit yourself to Necromunda, either – this terrain is also ideal for use in games of Warhammer 40,000 and Kill Team.

This 438-piece kit contains:

Zone Mortalis Gang Stronghold
- 1x Watchtower
- 1x Gunk Tank
- 1x Set of Stronghold Gates
- 4x Stronghold Walls
- 2x Stronghold Corners
- 1x Stronghold Wall Extension

Zone Mortalis Platforms and Stairs
- 2x Sets of Stairs
- 16x Platforms
- 2x Wide Platforms
- 12x Railings
- 4x Ladders
- 1x Lift

Zone Mortalis Columns and Walls
- 12x Columns
- 2x Wide Walls
- 8x Walls
- 2x Wide Doors
- 2x Doors

Zone Mortalis Barricades and Objectives
- 1x Gang Relic
- 1x Priority Marker
- 4x Door Terminals
- 1x Beast's Lair
- 5x Loot Caskets
- 9x Barricades
- 4x Boobly Traps

Zone Mortalis Pipes and Conduits
- 3x Pipes
- 1x Control Point
- 1x Broken Pipe Section
- 2x Curved Pipe Sections
- 1x Short End Pipe

Some of it - like the Gang Stronghold - can be used as-is for 40k, but the rest requires some thought. You can use the 'Platforms and Stairs' & 'Columns and Walls' to make things (trying to find photos of mine now...).

It's good value if you need all of it. Doesn't sound like you need any of it.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

For the sake of yesterday you really need to buy that bundle today...

...because it really sings to your inner child. And hey! Don't forget you'll soon be able to add buggies and other cool vehicles too with Ash Wastes!

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

IME Zone Mortalis terrain is very useful for 40K as well. I usually use it to construct longer walls, which, while not tall enough to cover superheavies & kinghts etc, do a decent enough job allowing solid cover for infantry.

The only problem with ZM blocks is, they are very addictive and you might find yourself craving for more and more..

"The larger point though, is that as players, we have more control over what the game looks and feels like than most of us are willing to use in order to solve our own problems"

You might be able to get it later, but it will cost £20 more almost immediately.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
