Not a fan of the neogi fig. Here's hoping there's Zodar or clockwork horrors (and that they look halfway decent).

There's a set of 5 minis, 4 based on the cartoon, one who, um is there too, coming for $30.

"D&D Icons of the Realms: Dragons of Stormwreck Isle"

Honestly Eric the Cavlier's face alone sells the set. Just perfect. Though Presto's glee is also notable. I have no idea who La Blue Girl is in this or why they included her over Sheila or Bobby or both. Maybe planning a later set to double dip into the nostalgia market?

Possibly a second set with Sheila, Bobby, Uni, Dungeon Master and Venger?
One can hope!

I'd assume so. The Eric mini is great but I would have like Presto to be pulling something out of his hat.

In case you're wondering what their final fate was...

No!

Wait!

Holy $%^&! Someone hacked together the lost final episode!

Yahbut prepaints. Anyone got a shot of the latest D&D prepaints? I only have Dungeon Command, and, while the large monsters aren't too bad, the humans and humanoids are awful.

The annoying thing is, the blue cleric looks familiar.

But I can't honestly tell if that's because she's from something or a cleric with blue vestments and a simple sun symbol is just that generic.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Mixed bag - I have the "League of Malovence" - they're fine on the table (2-3 ft. away) but if you want to hold them 2-3" inches from your face ... not so good.

I can totally see someone deciding to double dip into the well with 2 sets, but that just makes Lady Blue more puzzling. I mean if you're going that way why not use a minor character from the cartoon (oh let's say Martha from that one with the deadly fog) or Mercia (?) from the action figures. Now you've got 4 nostalgia characters and one meh.

Why does Hank have an arrow nocked and a quiver on his back? And why isn't Presto pulling something from his hat?

Think I'll pass. Stick to making my own.

Blue cleric does look familiar, but I'm having trouble placing her.

Edit:
The redesigns are over all not bad though.

The aged versions of these characters over on Antediluvium Miniatures are quite fun - especially Uni...

Over on ENWorld, someone pointed out that the blue cleric might be Terry (another person pulled to the D&D world from the same ride) from the episode "The Girl Who Dreamed Tomorrow".

Still would have preferred Mercion as the cleric, though.

How easy and at what price can you get these outside of the events? TIA.

Giant Space Hamster Paint Event Kit will be heading to retail stores as the fall painting event this year, which will come with a miniature from the new Spelljammer, plus paints and a tutorial to get you kicked off.

The set includes an unpainted Giant Space Hamster miniature, 10 Vallejo paints, 2 brushes, a water pot, and all wrapped up nicely in the blister pack that can hold your paint quite nicely.

Gathering the Informations.

Absurdly easily. The current ones are a "regular stock" product, with a QR code on the side that you can scan in to get the step by step paint guide.

The paint night events are, as far as I've seen, just a kind of casual thing not an exclusivity thing.

Speaking of nostalgia, minis based on the 1977 monster manual

https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/dungeons-dragons-wizkids-classic-collection-miniatures/?fbclid=IwAR1x5jtz14Cm052R3t0X-_F0BnUSFuhdVblf7It5iPidSRoHy-wR5_0bkAQ

WizKids has announced a new line of Dungeons & Dragons miniatures based on artwork from the original Monster Manual. The D&D Classic Collection is a new collection of miniatures featuring classic Dungeons & Dragons monsters as based on their earliest depiction. The first set is titled D&D Classic Collection: Monsters A-C and appropriately contains a selection of monsters from the opening pages of the 1977 rulebook. Included in the set are a Ankheg, a Basilisk, a Beholder, a Bulette, a Carrion Crawler, a Chimera, a Cockatrice, and a Couatl. You can check out a rendering of the Beholder (which is sure to be the highlight of the set) below:

Yes and no. This season was iirc filmed together but then split up into two parts.

No, the episodes coming out in July only finish up season 4.

Season 5 is a separate season that still needs to be *filmed, from what I understand.

Yup. I said yes and no because when you break up a season into distinct parts separated by months then it feels to many who don't know the behind the scenes details/news ahead of time like an additional season. And some companies/productions do that split into formal seasons from one to save face/money and satisfy obligations... though that's not the case here. These episodes were just longer than previous seasons and had more effects so time was needed and the break in between is relatively short anyways with a delay on par with a weekly release almost.

That's true - but there's also an actual 5th season that's going to be made.
