Somewhat interesting that none of these preview articles allude to the fact that the ruler of Necromunda and hence of the Palanites is now some weird alien giant thing rather than Lord Helmawr. I wonder how they'll be handling that.

(I haven't read the Squat or Nomad books yet, so I'm not sure how much they referenced this, but obviously they're much less connected to the Imperial House as factions.)

From my perspective, what I believe they are trying to do is have the "armybooks" be usuable in the 41st Millenium, since none of the "House of ..." books go further than 999 m41 (including The Nomad and Squat book).

The House of books are setting the stage and bringing us the characters. The Campaign books afterwards put us over the edge past the coming of the Great Darkness.

I haven't read the Ash Wastes Nomads book, but the timeline in Halls of the Ancestors stops right at the start of the Aranthian Succession story.

AFAICT, the Nomads book pretty much ignores the entire Aranthian Succession.

I wouldn't lay good odds on the new Enforcers book taking any notice of it either.

Only a couple of new things for Necromunda from the Big! Preview! Show!

I think some of those Kharadron Overlords would make good Ironhead Squats, especially the Vossinki Mining Clan. Wouldn't one of those airships make a really cool vehicle conversion?

Also, some of the Leagues of Voltronn guys. The Arkanist Evaluator or the Cthonian Earthshakers.

The nomad book is outland specific.

The end run of the Succession books left Lady Helmawr in a Spyrer suit, and the war continues. Expanding across the planet keeps the setting moving, and gives you more stuff to do then just two gangs enter, one gang leaves, which killed the 1st edition.

Myself? I'm really close to dropping half the stuff I have for 40K to trade for Necromunda, and beyond. I love the Car Wars aspect, the Mad Max level, and the different added material that has been showing up.

Not a fan of the overpriced out of reach figures, nor the resin, but I still have my figures, and am fine with the DIY vehicles to bring to the table.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
