Amazon has a coupon thingy for the three current Mars printers, which reduces the prices to:

Mars 2 Pro $225-36=$189
Mars 3 $285-45=$240
Mars 3 Pro $358-58=$300

Any thought on the price/value ratios for these printers? Is a Mars 3 much of a step up from a Mars 2 pro, or is saving $50 and buying resin/STLs a better idea?

I have had an Ender printer for a couple years, and have often thought about upgrading...

The Elegoo Mars series are excellent and I had a basic Mars for years with probably 1000 print runs on it. Replaced the LCD screen a few times (cheap and easy to do) and other than that, no issues. Elegoo also has top notch customer service and I sold that Mars last year and moved up to their Saturn.

If you are looking to compare the Mars series, a quick search will bring up the parameters and would definitely pay the extra to get a monochrome screen, as it will last much longer and quicker print time. Other that, you cannot go wrong with Elegoo and you will love the detailed prints from resin.

I also have an Ender 3 Pro (my second FDM prinyter) and love it for the things it specializes in, but my go to printer is the resin. You can also set yourself up with wash and cure staions with large tupperware containers and a cheap UV light on Amazon (<$20) and not have to break the bank on a wash & cure station.
