Ha, i lied.

But now that you're here, might as well stay right?

I always wanted to share my projects and maybe get some fresh eyes on the 'things' i have painted & created so far, whether
it is for criticism or just for ideas. Sometimes i struggle a bit with coming up with new ideas for models and kitbashes, and google
image search goes only so far before seeing the same conversions and kitbashes over and over.
And even though is purely do this for myself since i haven't played Warhammer, or tabletop in general, for a couple of years
due to "Situations", i still enjoy creating my own spin on already existing models or create my own.

While this ought to be a P&M blog and to stay in accordance to DakkaDakka's rules, i will still put some RL stuff into it. But
just to be sure i will put this into a Spoiler, so you can choose whether or not you're interested in some non-Miniature stuff. Since
my RL-Stuff has a lot of LGBTQ+ topics i think it is only fair to 'hide' this - some people may or may not feel uncomfortable about
these topics, and i want everyone to enjoy the Hobby, and that is also true for my blog.

So, without further ado, let's talk P&M Stuff! What do i paint? Do i really paint cute & 'girly' stuff? Yeah, no. I somewhat fell in love with
a more 'grimy' and grimdark approach to painting and converting stuff. Wearing pink nail polish is the furthest i have painted something,
that doesn't look like it has been forgotten for years in some field or dark place in the warp (Although i have put transfer's on some fake
nails. They look kinda cute, ain't gonna lie
)

Currently, i have two Armies or WIP-Project's i am working on, my beloved - although 'meh' painted Chaos Knights from House Xavrok..
(Initially i wanted to paint them as house Korvax, but i got the Colors mixed up, so instead of Black & White, they're White & Black. Oops)
And the second is my yet-to-be-named Chaos / Khorne Warband. So, here's a Family shot of the Knighties.

May i just say, how difficult it is for me to upload Pictures of the Knights? I can't decide which 'side' to choose, so i do the pictures like they're
selfies - taking a dozen or more pictures, and deleting them over an over until i find a photo i actually like. A Girls problem, through and through.
Let's start from Left to right:

Lady Venatrix ( yes, i took Latin in school. Why do you ask? )

Confutatis Maledictis ( yes, i like Mozart. What's with all the questions? )

The Twins ( Blue & Red Twin )

And the small ones do not have a name, and i think you can see them quite well.

While i am not really good at painting, or at least i think i can very well improve a lot, i go with the 'North of the Border' approach
and just say "I'm not good, but good enough. And yes, for some reason almost all knights have a 'heroic stance'. Warhammer's
official releases definitely has it's influence on me. That you will see with my Warband, that'll be next.. time!

Ha, Cliffhanger.

Bye for now, and be excellent to each other!

Well, that was a short hiatus.

Since there hasn't much happened in the last minutes since posting this, there's no 'RL Spoiler'.
But there are more Pictures. I think i start with the Characters of my Warband that has yet to be named. One
of which is probably the first - and only - model i am actually very proud of. Even though the paint job isn't the
best, it's something that took me a lot of time to create, and i taught myself sculpting stuff, which is really
awesome (in my opinion).

This is my, slightly to big for his own good, Daemon Prince. As of yet, no name. But i bet someone of you guys & gals
has a fitting name.

Ok - so you may think "why is he to big for his own good" - that is a very good question, Jenkins.
Let.. no, you know what. Let that picture enlighten you

Yep, that is a normal sized Legionary next to his Commanders' Feet. And that base is a 100mm base. Somehow,
during the process of kitbashing him, i forgot how big a Daemon Prince actually is and instead of thinking he comes with
a 60mm base, i was sure a 100mm base it is. Oh well..

Once upon a time, a saw a Post about a conversion on Reddit with a Picture-in-Picture parts explanation. I thought
it was a really cool idea, so i did the same.. And boy is it a mess.

Other parts, that are used are Blood Warriors Fist Weapons, left-over bits from a Defiler, Left-over bits from a Helbrute and
left-over bits from my Chaos Knights, as well as Greenstuff & Miliput for Greenput.

Welcome to dakka KhorneGirl, brilliant heresy going on here, great kitbash for this demon prince, and nothing "meh" about this knighthouse, the weathering is very pleasing and these mutant muscles/veins are an awesome touch for more corruption. My only minor suggestion would be to drill the barrels on the meltas.

Looking forwards to what comes next, keep up the great work !

What an intro! A full amazing Knight army (each one of those knights individually is amazing but together they're jaw-dropping) AND a great kit-bashed Daemon Prince? I can't wait to see what you have next!

I do love the "here's where all the pieces are from" feature for the Daemon Prince btw. It really shows off the work that went into it!

Hello again!

Thank you all so, so much! I really appreciate all your nice words, can't stop smiling & blushing (bloody estrogens)

@KernelTerror
That is actually a really cool idea. Gonna have to order a drill / pin vise or smth.

RL Stuff here:
Spoiler:
Well, poop. After 8 weeks of not having stable internet, i decided to cancel my contract with my ISP without notice. Thanks to a nice lawyer i have met a couple of years ago, it was over quite quickly.
But why poop? Well, getting a new ISP shouldn't take to long but until then i have to use the little amount of Data volume i have access to. Gonna be a boring couple of days. Let's hope it doesn't take more than
a week. That being said, my endocrinologist also called and gave a new appointment for a blood test. Yeah.. blood tests. And it isn't just some little bit of blood, it's a complete blood count.. so vials & vials of blood.
I gonna faint already just thinking about it.

Well, i was about to post more 'Characters' or HQ choices, but other than a very-much-WIP Dark Apostle, i don't actually have Characters. Oh well,
let's just jump to another couple of Big Monsters. I love big monsters... stop. Just stop. Get your mind out of the Gutter.

Let's start with the Helbrutes & Jimmy as a size-comparison!

In another awesome blog, i've seen people using the Spoiler for Pictures as well. I'm stealing that because it makes the post less
cluttered in my opinion.

Here, the Screaming Machine

Spoiler:

The Screaming Machine is based on the Spaces Wolves Dread & Sentinel Legs. The Armor on the Legs is from a Defiler while the Arms are from
the Daemon Prince kit, while the hands are mostly modeled by yours truly. The upper Jaw/Head is from a Bloodthirster, the lower jaw & his massive
underbite is from a Chaos Horse Body armor with some leftover spikes & teethies as.. teeth.

The Suffering Machine

Spoiler:

The Suffering Machine is based on the Helbrute kit, and the stubby, puny legs (who though of that?!) were replaced with Armiger legs. The Arms
are basically just left-over bits from the Daemon prince & Helbrute kit, while the Claws are made from the Mawloc Scythes & Spikes. The Head is also just a Left-over
head from the Undead Dragon (what's his name again?) kit.

And other Big Monsters!

The Vermin (Maulerfiend)

Spoiler:

Basically just a normal Maulerfiend, with a Verminlord's head. Just a simple Head-replacement? Booo, boring (still my favorite, looks really cute)

unnamed Maulerfiend

Spoiler:

This is basically a Stonehorn, with one Arm & the Head/neck replaced from the Maulerfiend kit. A bit of Armor & pipes added, and voila - a Maulerfiend. Stompy
Maulerfiend. And yes, there's a third one with the Head of the Stonehorn & a Stonehorn Leg, but he's still in the WIP phase (gonna post, don't you worry).

Soo, that's the biggens out of the way, what is left?
Here a list of what i still have, going to post & work on:

- 2x 7 Close Combat Legionaries
- 5 Shooty Legionaries
- 8 Bikes
- a handful - literally - of Possessed
- Heldrake(s)(?)
- more Characters

The Heldrakes are a longtime wish of mine, but i can't be bothered with the official Kit. It looks aweful. So, there's a reason for some Conversions

Thank you for watching / reading & be excellent to each other!

These kitbashes and conversions are all absolutely killer, but that scond Helbrute with the dragon skull is just a cut above! Seamlessly using the tyranid and undead bits gives it such a unique look but it's still very obviously a Chaos, model.

Hey all!

Firstly, let me address all your post.. Thank you so much!

@Boringstuff
I totally agree. The weird grin the head has looks kinda stupid, but i was a bit out of ideas and what to do with it. The other
Maulerfiend with the Stonehorn head is actually one of my favorite models - but had to replace the basing because it looked
weird.

@Paradigm
Thank you - in my opinion, there's no bit that isn't Chaos. For me at least. I do have a Tau Devilfish, and i am planning to use it
on the Heldrake. It has wings, it has turbines - perfect!

@usernamesareannoying
I just don't think about what fits and what doesn't, and just make it fit.

For Example, here's the small Carnivore - Karnivore? - Knight

Spoiler:

While the Base is the just the small Knight thing, but everything else is just something 'fleshy'. And Tyranids are basically walking
'flesh'-bits for me. The Claw, Arms & Sword-hand are just Chaos / Maulerfiend bits. And the Sword? A Rhino hatch. Even the
teeth on the top-hull are just the small spikes from a Mawloc kit. And the Eye is the 'magic ball' (*ponder the orb!*) from the
Verminlord - including hand. Because, y'know - fleshy bits..

But let us get back to the Warband! The last time before my Hiatus because of no stable internet

Here are some thing's i am still working on, namely rebasing & painting some Infantry. Or, the be more precise - Terminators & Possessed!

Terminators (i think the Loadout is currently still illegal, but that can be fixed)

Spoiler:

..and the Possessed. Two are the bog-standard former 'greater Possessed', the rest is basically just normal Possessed on elevated & larger Bases.

Spoiler:

Nothing out of the ordinary, with only one headswap (gasp) - a Slaanesh Instrument for the Seeker Sprue used as a Head with a long tongue.

Other than that, there are also some finished Rhinos (i lost the tracks of one.. oh well)

Spoiler:

I don't know why, but painting Vehicles is so much fun! (Ignore the freehand, wanted to play WE but didn't like the paint scheme) Adding
Battle damage, and scratches & testing out how to paint stuff is just.. hnnng. Awesome! Also, the Terminators and the Rhinos were the
first time i tried to use something else than a wash to shade the red, in this case purple. It somehow made sense that Purple is the shade
color of red.. not sure that makes much sense, but i think it does look kinda cool.

The latest model i painted was a bog-standard Abaddon. I just wanted to paint something else than always red & bone white, and since
he can be played (it think? Haven't played in ages) with any Warband / Legion, i thought i give it a try. Was kinda fun (and yes, i changed
the Hand Position so he points at something) actually do paint something else for once. And i also used some Gouache for weathering - i just
love Gouache. Oil would probably look better, but Gouache just looks so incredibly matte. Really love it.

Anyway, again thank you so, so much for all your comments & suggestions. Keep 'em coming, i love the feedback

Wow, your battle damage/corrosion is top notch. Every model looks like it's seen its share of action.

I'm not sure, though, that a devotee of Khorne should be nervous about a blood draw. That sounds like an act of devotion to me.

I thought you said earlier you aren’t much of a painter. Abandon looks great. Also, you might consider using an even darker line in the scratches, like a very very think line of black ink or something at the deepest part of the scratch to make it pop a bit more.

Are the scrapes over the rhino door from Berzerkers jumping in and out with running chainsaws. Love it.
