Howdy All,

I am not only new here but new to AoS and 40K. My 15 year old told me he would play Warcry with me and then bailed. Kids. Anyways, I am looking forward to building an Ork/Orruk army for AoS and 40K. As a frequent World of Warcraft player, I have a special love for Orcs/Orks/Orruks. Painting is very hard for me given a nerve damaged hand and arm but I try. I also enjoy fly fishing when I can as well as Historical Napoleonic war gaming. I am currently working on a French Waterloo army as well. I am usually a lurker but maybe I will post something here of my work. We are always are hardest critic and I am def hard on myself. I am def interested in Warcry and Kill Team. The skirmish games appeal to me.

Welcome! For the Napoleonics, are you using a particular ruleset, or just painting the models? I keep seeing Napoleonics for Black Powder, and I'm interested, but haven't made the jump yet

Hey Jeff,
Orks and their variants are the best, across the whole fantasy oeuvre. I love their route 1 philosophy of attack, attack, attack! And usually with a lot of mayhem thrown in.
That said, the Kommandos Kill Team is going to be my next purchase. The idea of bloody minded orks using their cunning is a funny idea.
To get my nephews into the game I'm currently using espionage of my own: buy them cool stuff to build and paint! I suggest you try it with your 15 year old...
