Okay, here's my first attempt at a Stormcast Eternals list.

-Knight-Incantor (General) (125)
--Spell: Celestial Blades
-Vindictors (5) (130)
-Vanquishers (5) (125)
-Judicators with Skybolt Bows (5) (200)
-Vanguard-Hunters (5) (125)
-Dais Arcanum (Endless Spell) (40)

Total: 745

Battle Traits
Stormhost: Hallowed Knights
Army Type: Stormkeep

Allegiance Abilities
Command Trait: Staunch Defender
Command Ability: Call for Aid
Artefact of Power: Hammer of Might

The idea is to use the Judicators for fire support as the main line advances, and the Vanguard-Hunters as skirmishers. The Dais Arcanum is mostly there to fill out the list; it seems useful, but I can discard it to free up the points if necessary.

You'll probably want a second character--being stuck with no heroes alive is a very bad situation to be in. Lord-Relictor would be a very solid option.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Because there's nobody to give commands in that situation?

As far as a second hero, I had the Knight-Vexillor on my short list. Either version of that could be good.

I was also considering maybe replacing the Vanquishers with another squad of Vindictors?

When I build a list for AOS I think through the following: Can I hold at least two objectives each turn? Can my list achieve the Battle Tactics? Can I handle a big-nasty enemy unit?

It is hard to build at 750 points.

Your Vindictors and Vanquishers can certainly move up and seize a point while the Judicators hold a backfield objective and provide some shooting support. The Vanguard Hunters do give you some sneaky-sneaky options. In line with what NightMusketeer mentioned, I might switch a Lord Relictor for the Knight Incantor. The Vanquishers have come down to 110 points, so you could do the swap. You could give the Lord Relictor an Arcane Tomb to have a Dispell and a spell in addition to his other abilities.

Your Vindictors and Judicators can sometimes spike out Mortal Wounds, but I feel that your list lacks a hammer that can crack open a tough enemy unit. Maybe drop the Endless Spell and Judicators for a unit of Vanguard Raptors with Longstrike Crossbows?

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

Wait, what? I pulled the latest point list from warhammer-community.com (dated June 21, 2022) and it said they were 125 points. Was there something more recent than that?

The October 2022 Battlescroll Galletian Reinforcements included some points adjustments.

The Warhammer Community site also has a great AOS list builder.

Nice! I wasn't aware of this. Thanks!

Are the Vanquishers worth taking at this point level, or should I go for more Vindictors? I can see how the Vanquishers might be useful against a horde army, and I put them in there to allow for tactical flexibility in that case, but I'm unsure.

Vindicks are never a bad choice. They have exceedingly good stats for their point cost (IMO should cost more points). The big thing is the 3+ base save; that can be boosted to a 2+ with various bonuses which is incredibly durable due to the exponential factor*. On top of that they deal mortal wounds on 6s to hit, an ability that really shouldn't exist (but for now does, everywhere) and means they can reliably damage anything.

*Something many players do not understand is how the math works regarding saves vs incoming attacks:

An opposing unit has 10 wounds and your attacks deal 1 damage, how many saves do you need him to make before his unit will statistically (on average) be dead?
6+ save = 12 rolls
5+ save = 15 rolls
4+ save = 20 rolls
3+ save = 30(!) rolls
2+ save = 60(!!) rolls

As you can see, going from a 3+ to a 2+ isn't a 17% increase in durability, it is a 100% increase.

Reworked the list a bit based on the suggestions above.

-Knight-Vexillor with Banner of Apotheosis (General) (160)
-Knight-Incantor (125)
--Spell: Celestial Blades
-Vindictors (5) (130)
-Vindictors (5) (130)
-Judicators with Skybolt Bows (5) (200)

Total: 745

Battle Traits
Stormhost: Hallowed Knights
Army Type: Stormkeep

Allegiance Abilities
Command Trait: Staunch Defender
Command Ability: Call for Aid
Artefact of Power: Hammer of Might

Reworked the list a bit. The Lord-Exorcist is mostly there for his "no resurrection" aura - I can see that being very useful against certain opponents.

Thoughts on the rework?

-Lord-Exorcist (General) (170)
--Spell: Celestial Blades
-Knight-Vexillor (120)
-Vindictors (5) (130)
-Vindictors (5) (130)
-Judicators with Skybolt Bows (5) (200)

Total: 750

Battle Traits
Stormhost: Hallowed Knights
Army Type: Scions of the Storm

Allegiance Abilities
Command Trait: Shock and Awe
Command Ability: Thunderbolt Volley
Artefact of Power: Hammer of Might (on the Knight-Vexillor)
