Please spread this petition if you believe in the idea of primaris land raiders or land raiders for primaris in any form. Lets get GW's attention!

They already have them; Repulsors.

Primaris dont field no non-floating vehicles except for Walkers good sir!

Just petition GW to give them a 2+ save if you feel the need. (They probably will in their next book though.)

The ATV ain't floating and the primaris bunker floats once, and even that only in the lore. In books they drive around in everything, rhinos, drop pods, thunder hawks etc. It is GWs own choice to not allow them to do that.

Just buy a Land Raider and use your Intercessors as counts-as Sternguard. Sternguard are better anyways.

Every Techmarine worth a damn knows that Tacticus armour smell taints the insides and royally upsets the Machine Spirit within. To even suggest such a thing sounds heretical

The Chapter organisation diagram in Codex: Silver Templars showed them with Land Raiders.

I'd prefer to see the Primaris/Non Primaris rule just get tossed out the airlock for all the transports - at least for characters.

I'm sorry Supreme Grand Master Azrael, I can't let you in this Land Raider now that you've crossed the Rubicon. Even if you are my boss about 5 levels up and can eviscerate me where I stand, rules are rules.

I think the real reason is marketing, to sell the new kits. But looking at it from a game play scenario, what would break by removing the line?

Assume for the sake of argument that gravis armor is given the same restrictions as terminator armor. This keeps the melta guys from drop pods, among other things.

Firstborn transports have a few perks. Drop pods will let units deep strike. Rhino are inexpensive and help with mobility and keeping a unit safe for a turn. Razors can shield a unit and offer firepower. LRs are big blocks of toughness and wounds, with large capacities and assorted guns.

Are hellblasters any worse the combi-weapon spam sternguard stepping out of a pod? Or conversely, jumping out and shooting (but not assaulting) after an impulsor’s move? Are agressors any worse than terminators out of a LR?

What broken things do you think would happen? None come to my mind.

Yeah, it's to sell the kits, but I don't mind the separation for non-characters. It doesn't make sense for characters though. Kill the rule for characters, and let Apothecaries heal MONSTERs Its about to get worse with the Lion showing back up.

Thankfully we've ignored that rule since the day Primaris were released even in the local GW.

A fair point

Supposition time - stinks to me of internal argument whether primaris or first born should be separate factions or not and this was a compromise that pleased no one.

I think the accepted supposition is that primaris was there to replace firstborn, and it took flight like big rock so GW had to backpedal and they stopped here.

Convenient that 9-11ft tall Custodes Terminators can be transported in Land Raiders but 8-9ft tall Primaris Marines can't be mounted in Land Raiders...

its not that they dont fit, the problem is that they require US standard power outlets while the land raider historically comes with EU standard power outlets. Who wants primaris running out of juice after a couple of hours???

Not to mention Abaddon the Elephantine.

My Ultramarine army is basically all Primaries, except for a Terminus Ultra. I figure that since it has no transport ability that I can fake it a little.
