Greetings,

Some of you may remember the old "28mm skirmish game of homicidal warbands" called, Fanticide.
I absolutely love the setting and the (now long out of print) models.

I spoke with Ernest Baker, who co-wrote the game, and he does not know who owns the rights to the system
anymore. The court handled it when Alien Dungeon went under.

If anyone has any information as to who owns the IP and the rights to the game, please message me or reply here.

Thanks

If the court handled it I'd say the first thing would be to see if you can get hold of any public court documents to see how it was handled from there. It might at least give you a starting point for where the licence ended up.

Plus don't forget sometimes licences for things get fragmented, one person ends up with the models, another with the rules, another with the concept art etc...

Worth a look, thank you.

This could be useful as a starting point :

https://misternizz.wordpress.com/2016/01/29/two-big-kickstarter-projects-bite-the-dust/

“Our sales plummeted precipitously in the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2015 and never recovered across our online retail operations as well as hobby shop and distributor sales. We could not maintain our business under these conditions and despite a continuing series of sales and marketing efforts, we have been forced to file for bankruptcy. The case has been filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania at case number 16-20247″

Access to actual Court documents requires a PACER-account though..

A bit more info can be found here (still extremely limited without full PACER) :

As I understand it, Ironclad Games got all the Alien Dungeon properties, but have only done anything with All Quiet on the Martian Front.
