Howdy! Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm in the process of painting Bayard's Revenge but am having a whale of a time trying to figure out what color the skull on the cross on his pauldrons is supposed to be. I've looked up a ton of reference photos but none seem to be straight on and at an angle I can't tell if they're silver, gold or bone.

If ya'll could help me out and point me in the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated!
