Stephen May mentioned a couple of weeks ago he was leaving GW, I follow him on insta and he seems to be responsible for a lot of forgeworld necro stuff. I'm a fan of his work and Necromunda so thought I'd support. It is a little late in the day for the KS, just a couple of hours on posting this but he does have a patreon if anyone is interested.

I can't post links or pictures apparently but you'll quickly find stuff with searching Dead Earth Miniatures Scout. Thanks.

Yes ratskin adjacent, it looks the part, I know he mentions raising 5K through the KS to consider making a gang, so it isn't there but hopefully he isn't discouraged by it, as 2.7 is pretty good for a newcomer to the crowdfunding experience and for someone who is probably relatively unknown to many.

This was also a relatively short campaign, and to be honest, I thought a bit spur of the moment.
I think he ran it as- is to gauge interest in seeing his designs come to tabletop fruition outside of Patreon.

I felt like this was a difficult one to find if you weren't really aware of it happening.
Like the OP, I started following May on social after putting two and two together that he's been responsible for all the Necro sculpts I've enjoyed (and at this point completely painted, so that's a pretty darn good record in my opinion). I don't recall seeing it really mentioned on there either, and then BAM- it had already begun.

I guess next time I'll try to help get any future campaigns posted up here more quickly.

Yes just a 6 day campaign by the looks, I did want to post earlier but I'm lazy, dakka isn't my usual commenting forum though I check it for stuff (I use boardgamegeek) and the turn around from the project creator mentioning it on insta has been barely two weeks. I came across him after the corpse grinder weapon pack, he was talking about them been used on things like marines.

His patreon seems to be doing well, it's got 73 members and it looks to be talking about necro stuff there too, sadly I've had to reduce my spending on things like patreon so can't see the recent posts like the mention of the Picsean and a miniature gw weren't interested in.

I wonder if he'd be interested in doing some not quite warhammer marionettes from the warhammer rpg art, they'd be interesting things to print out.

Would have been nice to hear about this and think you actually had a shot at some figures.

(Not that you can get any from Forgeworld...)

Hey, next time you want to use Kickstarter, try setting up a reasonable campaign and promoting it.

Not bad! Not fully about the whole catfish vibe, but sure!

Need a better picture of it, but it doesn't grab me like the scout did.

He's been selling off his Necromunda gangs on ebay, I would have bought one or two but sadly I couldn't afford them.

The Ratskin and Piscean warrior don't interest me, but I'd be very keen to see more of his stuff!

I'm getting the strong impression that he needs some big help in the marketing side of things, lets hope that he gets it.

A little longer for this campaign at 9 days. On instagram he states that printing and master moulds have been paid for already.

Piscean, there is more pics on the page for angles. There is some stretch goals if you buy 2 or 3 for an additional head and arms and buying a third gets an additional head and special weapon.



Bounty Hunter add-on for £10, I think he mentioned this was his test sculpt for working with forgeworld.

Backed for one, the little rotating video really sold it to me.

Fishman is fun and weird, and could fit in all sorts of games.
I'm sold on it.
