Really surprised we haven’t seen a single glimpse or leak of new marine models yet, especially this close to the release of the codex. Normally the leaks are pretty heavy by now, so I guess GW have sealed up some of the holes?

I believe Nids go first, even ahead of Marines, so I'm surprised we haven't seen much in the way of previews for them already, but I'd expect to see the SM really fast on their heels.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

I must have missed them. But they haven't hit pre-order yet. They tend to faction focus this sort of thing. Previews, First, maybe second (depending on size of faction/release schedule) Pre-order, next faction starts teasing with an empty pre-order week.

Yes. Rule previews come when preorder announced. Rumour being today.

All models were shown off quite a while ago. There was even world wide campaign to determine who sees all models first.

Official showing of marines, yes I expect after the nid release. However, the fact we haven’t seen a single leak is quite remarkable IMHO.

Are the Tyranids actually releasing before the Marines? I haven't been keeping up.

Yes, apparently they'll get the Sunday preview next week.

Finger's crossed that Outriders are getting a proper kit with options...

Silly question, but are we expecting new marine models? We just got termies, the primaris devs ("desolators?") and flamer guys. Plus, a lot of the newer primaris like outriders aren't all that old yet. Combine that with a decent chunk of old marines getting sent to Legends, maybe they're hoping people will invest in some of the options that are already out instead?

Plus, I know there was a bit more pushback against marine releases than usual around the start of 9th as we were still in that super long period of back-to-back marine releases. Maybe they're trying to avoid some of the bad vibes for now?

ATTENTION
. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.

Currently unreleased:
Brutalis
Desolators
Stand alone terminators
Stand alone infernus marines
I'd be shocked if they didn't want to sell the ballistus alone
Sternguard

What we expect/is rumoured to be coming:
Terminator chaplain
Command squad
Multi-part terminators (see above) possibly containing assault components for 1 box
Jump assault intercessors
Likely new vanguard vets

May have missed some tbh

Hmm lucky they won the campaign to be revealed first then...

It's marines. They aren't going to get new edition and codex without new models...

It's...the...space...marines. It's what sells. Their sells is what funds rest of the armies.

Conversely the weird decisions around marines seems to suggest that they expected them to be revealed and released first imo.

Because we just got shootinators in a dramatically different scale. That means Assaultinators, Death Wing Termies, Deathwing Knights, assorted Terminator Characters, yadda yadda are going to look stupid next to the Shootinators.

And while not new models, there have been a number of boxed set type stuff that still hasn't metriculated into their own stand alone kit.

Finally they just told us theyr'e going to Squat some fairly significant units for generic game play and some chapter focuses - scouts (Raven Guard, Ultramarines), Assault Marines (Blood Angels, Demi Companies) and so on.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

Assault primaris with packs, packs characters, BA/DA special units, melee termintors, an outridder update.Which ever marine faction gets an update will probably get some "new" special characters. Although probably not everything in the same edition. With non marines GW does updates in one or two waves. With marines they stretch stuff over span of entire editions. Took them 3 years to give intercessors a melee option for the sgt.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

well, given the whole "marines vs nids, winner gets their new models revealed!" contest around the 10th ed launch, i think we can reasonably conclude that their are at least as many new marine kits in the pipeline as they had tyranid kits for that reveal.

as others have said, new scouts are likely coming (my money is they are a kill team kit, though), some new form of jump melee infantry now that assault marines are gone and van vets have had their datasheet nerfed to make room form them, and thiers a lot of wishlisting for other stuff as well.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
