there will be even more brutal reveals coming straight to Warhammer Community from the NOVA Open, which will be happening on Wednesday the 30th of August, or early on Thursday the 31st of August depending on your time zone.

More details on what to expect from the NOVA Open will be coming to Warhammer Community soon, but fans of towering green Orruks are sure to be well served.

This is the most likely time we see space marines if they are out this year right?

Lack of MESBG is disheartening although far from unexpected. I'm guessing Heresy will be the reveal of the rumoured plastic Solar Aux range. Hopefully Old World will be more then just a fancy map or resin character.

Nice to see Blood Bowl on the list. I hope it's a new team. It's been a while.

I'd say so. The Marine codex shouldn't be long after the Tyranid codex, so there really isn't much time left to reveal the models that get released with it.

It will be a fancy map and a resin character.

We haven't seen the new Mk.III Marines outside of that one battle scene picture yet, nor I think Assault Marines outside of a render? I'm not sure it's early enough for the mystery army yet when GW has those things to show of. Plus characters and stuff that was on the roadmap.

Old World could be that new Pegasus that had its sprue leaked

It was a pegasus, but I'd imagine it might be something relating to the "getting started" products.

Well we know marines are next codex and when has marine codex not come with new miniatures?

Yea marines is what 40k is. Maybe something else if we are lucky.

My hope is that MESBG is gearing up for a big plastic push so not much to show just yet.

I feel it's weird no Kill Team.

Wonder what role it has that dlffers from megaboss or is it just more efficient megaboss?

That article basically confirms this TGA rumour. The same poster also said that Tyranids are the next preorder (Sept 2nd) after the Sigmar box, so presumably their WarCom hype will start very soon.

No Necromunda yet again. I'm worried now for its future a bit.

I wonder if Necromunda is doing a bit of an AT in that its vanished for a while for something big. Or it could be as its a specialist game the new "not epic" has stolen all its production slots for a while.

Considering they just released basically a rules compendium for Necromunda I'd be shocked if its going anywhere.

40K side I'm fully expecting to see new Marines and such and nothing on the Tyranid front though we should be very close to their codex drops

True enough. Are they big enough of a deal to take up the entire release slot of though? I thought they normally left NOVA/GenCon etc. for the BIG things. What was even on the roadmap, I don't remember any more?

Yeah big plastic overhaul for the likes of Khand, Dunland, etc would be real nice.

Not expecting anything for Nids (as they said all for this year was revealed) but some surprising LoW leak for the next year would be welcome.

Makes me anxious too, but they did just release the new rulebook, so I can't imagine they won't at least finish the Succession books.

On the one hand, it feels totally nonsensical to think about a new edition of whatever description when two houses are still missing their ash wastes vehicles. On the other hand, a new edition with a new starter box needs two starting factions. Coincidence?

I don't know what to make of the recent lapse in plastic kits for Necromunda, to be honest.

Roadmap in spoiler below:

Spoiler:

From the Warhammer Fest reveal:

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/04/30/plastic-space-marine-assault-squad-prepares-for-launch-in-the-horus-heresy/

Maybe the Mk.III Marines aren't that big, even if in my objective and totally unbiased opinion they totally are, but we also have new lords of war and a Primarch listed before the mystery army. That sounds like it would be able to fill even a bigger reveal event.

More Lords of War will almost certainly be the other Cerastus chassis Knights. We’ve seen them, and just await release.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

No Necromunda or the new Kill-Team season. That's surprising.

Really thought they'd be getting a move on with the third (and presumably final) Necromunda campaign book.

I'll take a load off HBMC's shoulders and post the reminder right here that we shouldn't expect too much of a GW preview. Horus Ascended was big enough for GW to fill out the entire Horus Heresy preview he was in. Sanguinius, too, if my hazy memory is any good. Keep in mind that what we think is adequate and what GW wants to make a big deal out of rarely align.

If they consider Nova to be a big reveal event, they have Primarch and much requested infantry to show off. And there's no guarantee that big applies to each game system equally. There are seven games on the list. Even if each one got an insubstantial single kit preview, that would still give us an hour and a half of a show.

If memory serves, the second book and indeed new rule book weren’t previewed outside of random Necromonday Warhammer Community posts?

Yeah, a preview of the preview. This is so ridiculous one can do anything but laugh.

I won't bother watching the videos, I'll just look at the articles when they are out. Maybe this weekend when I have 5 minutes free.

Don't half the Necromunda factions still need vehicles for the new and exciting overworld vehicle game?

That seems to have gone ker-splat.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Thing is right now the specialist team has the new epic which has already had a release delay.

Meanwhile GW central has 40K new edition.

It could easily just be that the Specialist game department is undersized to support multiple larger games and thus have to shift around between them.

I'm still convinced that Necromunda is here to stay for the medium term. The amount they've sunk into model design and FW specialist releases for it are quite huge and its clearly very popular.

That’d be a good trick, preview isn’t until 31st August
