Civilian and civilian large should have been grouped, then military and fortification. For ease of lookup & verifying what values are the same.
Yeah, I made an updated one with better order and more specific info, even small buildings can hold a lot of bases as detachments aren't limited by the amount of models in them, in the case of the imperialis grandus, it can hold 3 whole detachments inside.

Ah Ok thanks Kodos - I must have just focussed on the building names, not those in brackets.
So I guess you could just cut that down to 2 building profiles, perhaps standard building and fortification, which won't then over-complicate. CAF bonus for buildings is a new one - that will make them even more formidable. Considering terminators are only +4, that is a pretty substantial bonus.

The balance is seemingly that when the structures go, odds of survival are very low even for more robust units. For me I just worry about tracking building damage and having to have an appropriately sized piece of area terrain to replace it with when it goes boom. My initial idea is I could see 6 structures, all of which have an objective in proximity, spread out well over the map and those become of the focal points for combat.
I have a strong suspicion that everything terrain wise is destructible in some way, even ruins. I base this on the fact that in the announcement trailer and in the battle report, none of the terrain is glued down. My other reason for thinking this is simply that, were it not the case. you have am odd situation where intact buildings can be destroyed/removed but not ruined ones, which seems very odd. It's possible that this ability is locked away in certain traits/ usr's that may not be too common like the demolisher rule and so on.
I do like that seemingly players can target the building itself if their weapons are able to damage it, where as it also seems possible to target units inside, though they get a better cover save. Seems interesting at least, that it's possible to clear a structure and take it over without destroying it.

They get the initiative automatically once per battle: they get to activate ONE formation first. No game breaking.
Pew. But one Formation can still mean first fire with A LOT of detachments. So it's very strong. But I am glad it's not all game then.

Ah my OCD is easing, thank you.
Edit: forgot to add in my previous post:
As I am generally #hardforheresy the possibility of linking Epic30k and Big 30k games appeals to me. So I am happy to see those rules in there.

Yeah it was itchin my ocd as well, had to do fix it.
On the topic of structures as like focal points malika just released this thing and it's perfect for the civilian structure, I love too that one can place a base or two up top to remember it's garrisoned. Also makes me want to keep the arvus's and marine transports press fit on their flight stands if possible, would love a shot of an arvus up there dropping off or picking up troops.

I like that the silo looks like it could hold a 25mm base up top.

Hmm, I mean formation=detachment, so they just go first with one activation. And Move comes before First Fire, so still a chance of getting out of range/ LoS.
It is useful, but not powerful.

Reading the bat rep, I think it's good to note that it basically comes down to the one final fight with a very tight points margin. While the more aggressive Angels took an early lead, the more conservatively deployed traitors began to systematically claw back up in the second half. This, combined with about half of the models still on the board at the end of the game, doesn't smell like a game too prone to one-way blowouts to me. It was also played between two of its designers rather than random White Dwarf studio people, with a reasonable expectation of some system mastery between them.
While much remains to be seen until we've got the rules in hand, the report reads like an acceptably fun game. Positive vibes, comparatively.
On the more amusing side, though, I got wondering as they stated in the same article that this would be the first Epic-scale battle report in the magazine since 1997. Nevermind the obvious "but you did play Adeptus Titanicus in 2018" part, it also skips a few things like the fact that even their latest Epic 40000 report was in 1998, but even moreso the whole launch of Epic: Armageddon and the accompanying little report in 2004 in WD 290
Combined with the complete handwaving of E:A in the WarCom article on editions of Epic, who knows what tinfoil-hat conspiracy there is going on at the GW HQ to wipe E:A from the pages of history (most likely it's of course just bad archiving and current media people being too young to go by anything other than in-house publishing years, but still...)

it is just that the last person that kewn about those left the company and 2010 and the new guy did not found anything newer than 1997 in their archive so he concluded there was nothing else done after that.....

I don't know how old the guys are, but possible they were still in pre-school when the previous epic versions were being played! Although you would have thought a quick conversation with one of the old ones would have cleared things up.
