Hi all,

I have been looking around online for a generic (power) sword IN SHEATH. All I am finding is either chainswords, or swords that are being held or flourished. Or, I find something close, but it is covered with Chapter iconography that I do not want.

I have a homebrew chapter so I want something that isnt covered in Black Templar stuff, or Blood Angel..

I have looked in the Fantasy realm as well, but once again, only finding swords being weilded.

I can, maybe, use a scabbard and glue a handle onto it to LOOK like a sheathed weapon, but if a bit like I want exists, I would rather try to track that down

So, I come to you, Hive Mind, for a pointer ..

(Its also possible I am overthinking this and something blatantly obvious is out there)

blade guard seem to be holding the blades.. the scabbards however, seem to have hilts, so maybe that would work if I could FIND a set separate from a body

IIRC from when building the BGV kit the scabbard straps are part of the mini, so might be hard to find separate. They were not just glue on anywhere bit. I also recall that they had seperate hilt bits that you could glue onto the scabbards, so if you modeled the sword in hand you would not use it (leaving it empty) but if you wanted a pistol/shield pose you could just glue the handle on the scabbard and have it sheathed.

Just need to find an appropriate size of weapon to fit whatever you are planning it for

Would just like to point out that was the Australian price. Double check your local currency.

(Still probably not worth it for one bit though)

Why don't you try searching for what you're after? I did a quick '40k sheath powersword' as my keyword on eBay, and a whole lot of came up for $2-10.
