Thanks guys but it's not me. It's a good brushes. Really happy I found brand which always available for me and relatively cheap. Also I feel like I have progress in building colours. So with proper technique I at least can control how they look and blend. Oh and I have whole week for hobby. If there nothing unexpected I should finish Ravener KT. True challenge is Venomspitter.
It's MiniWarPaint amazing brushes and sculpting tools. and many different molds for greenstuff like sm wolf fur cloaks. But looks like they don't sell anything outside the country

While working on Venomspitter the thought hit my brain. If I gonna use all this technique on IG... How they gonna look? And soft transition from black to white? Isn't it's a steel NMM?
So does it counts as NMM? I don't training intentionally, just apply what I learn from Hive mind
Spoiler:
Attempt to make NMM shoulderpad
Automatically Appended Next Post: Some update on Venomspitter.
Finished head carapace and venom sacks and start working over scythes.
Spoiler:
As always I ask for criticism and feedback
And here is a little teaching game with kid. Showing him kill team. Use 2 identical teams conscripted from my IG forces. I'd simplify rules a bit. All ended with his last trooper blow up my watchmaster, confidant and grenade launcher gunner with a last grenade. He win 9-3. I'm a terrible player...

Meh, you can wait on the other bit. What's the worst that can happen? An electrical fire? If that happens you won't have to worry about the electrical sockets any more!
No house, no problem.

Not the best logic. I wanna change them cause on socket are burned and I check few other. Idk where builders got them from but they doesn't fit any standards at all. Most internal parts are so thin that you can penetrate them with teeth.
Builders are suckers. There is no ground for most of sockets... And lot of burned contacts, riped insulation and The Four know how assembled lines. Looks like I need rip open the walls and check everything.
Ok. Something good. I'd made a pause with Raveners today and trying make Guards great again. There is Victor Kranz colonel of 42th. HE is basecoated. And shoulder pad is complete. Now working with plasma pistol.
Some progress on Castelan. It's going pretty slow cause I spend a lot of time staring at mini and figuring out why my metal looks like concrete... Also new paints I bought are gak. Impossible to drybrush over, they mix only with them self, nor my standard or GW don't mixing with them.
I give up. I cannot place where his helmet is from.

Working over second hand which is power fist. And for this arm I'd trying use glazing instead of stippling. It's a kind of dark magic. Consuming warped amount of time to get result but it's cool. And I need practice a lot to get good result. and I can't show it because my phone become more and more the problem. When I photoshoot raveners, who's also smooth and organic all right, once I try make photo of metallic I painted all become damn mess. Well, may be it's mess in reality -_-
kabaakaba wrote: It's a standard Castelan helmet. Or you mean you can't remember where you seen same helmet?
I saw it the other day on another model.
Someone had put it on a Tank Commander.

At least there is enough light and I can shoot. Castelan is done, well there is different parts which could be improved but I'm ok how it's look right now. Next I gonna finish raveners.

That's fast. Wrecker done. Don't invent anything for the Wrecker and just paint him my splinter-fleet's colours. And add some blood. While I'd working on Castelan I understand that's I overhighlited miniature and it's looks flat. Fixed it on Wrecker. There only basing lesft

I had a great idea. Why don't you make a guard unit, where they are mounted on Tyranids instead of horses.
This way you can combine your armies into one...
In all seriousness- great work on the nids. I know you want us to find something to be critical about, but you did such a good job on these foul xenos, it's hard to find fault.

Ok... his base is a little boring for a hero of the Imperium.
You could add a skull or some fallen bit from a slain enemy. Even a spent magazine... or some foliage.

I think that all heroic characters should stand out from regular squad members.
