Scotland

Heya folks. Long time (and I mean LONG time) lurker, first time poster.

I am Dimitrios, a Greek living in Scotland for the last 12 years. I've been involved in the hobby since the early days of the MB Hero Quest (I actually still own my three copies of Hero Quest, 2 of them complete, along with Kelar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord), and then of Space Crusade and its natural continuation, Warhammer 40k.

I've played WH40k since 3rd edition (not enough money to get involved before that) and, although I don't play that much (not a competitive player either) I have managed to have almost 100% of my army painted. I occasionally play at my local club in Cumbernauld.

I am the proud owner of a Black Legion CSM army, most of the miniatures metal, and I have recently (about a year ago) started a GSC combat patrol, which goes veeeery slowly.

I also recently bought a 3d printer, and I am printing terrain pieces, mostly to set my wee little soldiers in there and take awesome pictures.

Happy to be here, I've always wanted to join Dakka forums, but never did. I can't think a reason why. Hope to see you all on the field, be that of a tabletop battle or a painting desk (more likely)!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I almost forgot!

I have recently also built a Mordheim warband, almost exclusively scratch built, of Cult of the Possessed (no surprises here) and participated in my club's campaign.

I will create threads and post pictures of everything, as soon as I get through the myriad of posts in the forum, and get the hang of it. For the moment I'll keep reading and get myself overwhelmed!

And Davien felt a kick inside her, as though some organ she never knew she’d possessed was suddenly pumping. She looked into their faces, her own little congregation, and they were connected to her, souls speaking to her soul. My family, she knew. Blood of the angels.

Hi there.

It sounds as though you've got your fingers in most parts of the hobby. Scratch-building and printing models is always good.
All we want is pictures of your stuff

Cool, I've heard of Scotland. It's that the area north of Hadrian's Wall?

I'd love to see some of your work.

Don't worry about painting slowly. It took me waaaay too long to paint up 5 models to play WarCry.

Yes! That is the one! Land of the Picts, Scotland the Brave!

We've got haggis, fried Mars bars and Cullen Skink!
