Can I presume Autarchs are a new type of HQ, based on Aspect Warriors?

Yes, they are independent characters that can mix and match between exarch aspect powers and equipment.

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...

I believe with the red one we finally have a Space Elf whose hat is larger than the rest of the miniature!

Sad. More boring static poses. GW really missed out on a great opportunity to do something good for Eldar and 40k in general. I see that they're continuing the foot on a piece of rubble as a sign of rank tradition...

I never noticed that until now, all the exarchs and autarchs are standing on rubble.

Now that you mention it they're all standing on the same bit of rubble, and have the same leg armor and similar swirly cloaks.

I think that but for some bitz added on they all have the same body.

Meh what do you really expect? Not the best new models I have ever seen, but it is nice to bet new models every other edition. Not something that makes one want to start playing Eldar, but nice to get if your pissed off about using characters that were released in the early 90's.

Those are all pretty much pants. Really, how little though did they put into these? Oh, the fire dragons are okay... but then again, they are pretty much a redo of what they have had since 2ed. At least the banshees seem to be a bit more dynamic.

Different strokes for different folks...I love all the new figs.

My only gripe is the scorpions could be standing up straighter. Why they gotta crouch man!

And I really don't like that. Even if all the rubble were different, I wouldn't like it. I'm not quite sure why, but it really gets to me.

I think the Autarchs may be a plastic set. Hence they have the same legs and arms in general.

As much as I'd like to see a highly customizable HQ choice in a plastic set a la the SM Commander, I don't think we Eldar players have enough pull. I think we're stuck with those metals.

they will probably be metal, but now, does somebody know which one is the armydeal exclusive? I heard, it was the read one, but does that mena that the Biel-Tan Autarch can be purchased like that? because he looks awsome

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

Figures 1 and 3 seem like they have the same body with head and weapon swaps. The rumour is that the Autarchs all metal and have the same body with bits to customize their options.

I think #2 is the limited edition figure that is part of the army deal.

Nope, definitely an all metal kit. Which is a shame, as it's (relatively) easy to cast up additional poses in metal.

As I've said before, almost all of the new Eldar infantry are yawn inspiring. Only the Banshee's and Fire Dragons look to be relative improvements, and neither of those lines needed new figs. On top of that, the Fire Dragon Exarch's ridiculously super-huge gun smacks of compensating. As does the Dark Reaper Exarch's even more ridiculously oversized gun. Yet again another missed opportunity for GW to offer something new and interesting instead of the same old overpriced crap.

Will every exarch have their left foot on something? Or is it just a coincidence? I do quite like these models- they're growing on me, but then I get the urge to collect every new army that comes out except Space Marines, so it may just be me. It's a shame more aspects aren't plastic, but there we go

Third version of all these aspect warrior models, yet the 2nd Edition originals still look fine. Kind of makes you wonder why they didn't just stick with those and put the sculpting time into something new that did need the work. The original Dark Reapers are still the best.
