To celebrate the launch of the latest edition of Warhammer, the Design Studio's sculptors have spent the last few weeks working on a special project for this year's UK Games Day – a 3-up version of Battle for Skull Pass!

The entire contents of the boxed set has been reproduced as a 3-up, including dice, templates, range rulers, and they're just finishing a mock up of the box itself! As if that wasn't enough they've also made all the scenery and movement trays.

Personally I'd love a 3 up big boss, or the whole box if it was around $75 USD

Can you imagine rolling 3-up scatter and artillery die?!  And those whippity sticks would be the size of tree limbs!

Looks cool! I wish they'd sell some of them I remember asking Tim Adcock whether anyone gamed with the 3-ups (which were on shelves around the top of his office) and he said they didn't, but it would be cool to do. Clearly I sparked this idea then. Or not! :p

I wouldn't mind a 3-up of the Bretonnian on a Pegusus.  That would actually be pretty sweet.

I want a 3-up scatter die.

I'm really not feeling that Eldar army "deal"... It'll probably be $350 Cdn like the other ones, and be no-deal-at-all except for a free codex.

On the other hand, I'd buy a 3-up of that big boss. Or a Squig. That'd be cool. Or a 3-up Ripper Swarm!

I think people are forgetting that with a 3-up miniature, GW is rather likely to give you a 3-up price tag.

 

Still, a 3-up spider would be pretty neat for games of Inquisitor.

Holy CARP!!!!!  Those things are huge!!!!  You'd need an entire living room to play a game.  I've never seen or heard of 3-up before, but they look awesome.  Will they sell any of those?  Can you buy just one Spider rider for example?

You won't be able to buy them, they're just what the injection moulds for normal sized miniatures are created from.

Though I'm sure Forge World would cast you a few... for the right price!
