From TMP http://theminiaturespage.com/news/371313/ The first wave of our 28mm sci-fi detailing sets are now available here. - Airlock Doors: £4.00 GBP
- Large Doors: £6.00 GBP
- Security Pack 1: £5.00 GBP
- Communications/Hacker Terminals: £4.00 GBP
- Command Station: £6.00 GBP
- Computer Screen Detailing Set 1: £6.50 GBP
Sets to come later this year include: Security Pack 2 (4 sentry guns) and the "Power Charging Terminal Set" – the power terminal set consists of 2 resin-cast wall panels with spaces for sets of coloured acrylic rod (included), as well as a white-metal cast portable power pack into which the acrylic power rods also fit. The combination is ideal for static or mobile objectives.
In other sci-fi related news:
The prototype for our first foray into 28mm sci-fi vehicles is almost finished, and you can see a sneak peak of the as yet un-named hover-tank here. The final hover-tank will be a combination of pressure-cast resin, white metal and brass, and will come in kit format. I'm also working on an APC and "grav-tank/gunship" to complement the hover-tank, and a Dropship may follow in 2007. The new version of our bunkers should also be ready for Xmas this year – this a complete re-working of the original bunker kits. As well as the Stalwart Bunker Complex, we're also adding in two new kits: a "Communications Uplink Array" and a "Power Generator" kit – images of all of those when ready! Finally, please also note that we have now dropped the price on our etched-brass foliage to £4.20 GBP from £4.85 GBP – you can find the two frets on the "leaves" page in Scratch Builders Paradise here.

That tank is sweet, an excellent twist on the "future" of armor. It looks like it is not only scaled well, no stangely huge main guns, like a lot of sfi fi tanks, but also like it modeled from a real tank. I am very very impressed. I can only wonder how much this will cost me.

That is one sweet looking tank. Could be useful for a proxying eldar army as sci-fi modern humans.

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time... |

The basic tank hull and turret are nice but there's oo much gubbinz slapped on for my taste.

That is one sweet fecking tank! After taking a closer look, a lot of those extra gubbins appear to be optional, as I'm not too fond of the turret mounted rocket pods but I do like the rest. Wow that thing rocks.
Ah, and it appears these are the same people that built that awesome SST firebase too.

That turret looks like a merkeva mk 2 turret with a few changes. And that big goofy thing on the side has to go. Other than that looks cool.

The surfboard could be moved to underneath the hull, representing a kind of anti-grav propulsion device.

Went digging through my old posts, and guess what? I've been hating on mat ward since before it was cool

Accoridng to posts on TMP there will actually be 2 big side things and they will be optional. And apparently it did start life as a Merkeva turret on an APC hull.

Will order: Communication Points Command Station Large Blast Door set Small Airlock doors with control pads Sci-fi Computer Screens Detailing Set (black screens) ... as soon as they all are available (in stock). I have bough lots of Barrule/Antenociti stuff before (including "Set of 6 control Pads", "Barbed Wire", "Black Plasticard", "Embossed Styrene Sheets" etc.) and love using them to spice up my terrain.
