Ok, so with the current empire edition, how would you outfit a elector count on foot so he wasn't the suck?

Angron- crushing the theme and fluff of armies one horde at a time.

Outfit him as an Archlector.

Wow, I figured somebody else would come along with a non-facetious answer, but I guess not.

Seriously, I don't see how anything has changed for an elector count in 7th edition. Most of the character changes only appear to affect characters who don't normally live in units, who use magic, or who want to ride in chariots. I think maybe the only change to the EC is that his griffon benefits from the changes in the monster reaction table after he's dead.

Using full plate, shield, Holy Relic, and Sword of Sigismund has served me well for years. His goal is simply to not die - having the Sword allows him to strike first, which ups those odds a little bit.

What about, sword of sigismund, fpa, holy relic, shield. Always strikes first at +1S, 2+ (?) save, 4+ Ward
Thats pretty survivable. OR..... Sword of Sigismund, Armour of Meteoric, Tally. Always strikes first at +1S, 1+ save, 6+ Ward

By the way how do you get pictures under ur name and text under your written stuff???

Many started armies including: / , , ....and Bretonnia

It's tough to have an uber Empire character. Minimum points. Use the other points on units.

That first line is exactly what I'd suggested...
