So I'm attending my first 500 point Mangled Metal/Claw and Fang(I think that's the name) tournament and I can't decide on which 'Caster to bring. I like Deneghra's back spikes, stealth, and spells, but Goreshade's Feat and stats look like they may be more useful all around. Is it worth losing Stealth for the ability to "cheat" a unit into Mangled Metal?

The ability to drop 6 weapon masters with stealth and dark shroud is sweet.

Yeah, I've had my butt kicked by him more than a few times. Although Deneghra has some nasty combo's too.

Goreshade's feat is more powerfull at the 350 point level becasue of the free banes....it's still good at 500 points just not as overwhelming.

Deneghra is still an impressive caster no matter what the scenario.

 

Goreshade gets the edge if you think you'll be playing against Sorscha.

Denny loses some of her best support in MM (PWraiths, Skarlock, etc.) but can still knock the crud out of stuff. Goreshade doesn't really lose anything and offers a sneaky unit drop. Plus Goreshade's denial is top notch. I would go for the Bastard, but there would be worse choices than Denny!
