GW has updated their 40K section of the site. I hardly ever visit this part except to get a FAQ (which is how I found this out) and they have made some very cool articles for eldar here. Lots and lots of stuff. I dont have any idea how long it has been up, but it could not have been more than a week as I just checked them last monday and this wasnt there. us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/default.htm If you like eldar, you really should check this link out.

Just saw this today. Interactive painter is fun.

Wow, that IS an impressive Wraithlord. I would not mind a few Wraithlord if they looked different like that

This certainly caught my attention... Eldar Guardians Boxed Set $9999.00 Holy crap, Batman! Guess that's due to oil going over $75 US per barrel this summer.

One disappointment (hooray!): I would have liked to have seen a color scheme for Craftworld Altansar (or however its spelled; the one Magaun Ra is from). Is it in the codex?

It is in there!
And it is, in of itself, a bit of a disappointment. (Yes, IMHO...)
I've heard some say it reminds them a bit of the Emperor's Children's color scheme.
Hints of how they survived their time in the Eye?

Anyone get Neon Genesis Evangellion vibes from that MasterClass WL (which is incredible, BTW)?
Sweet model.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias |

That is a nice wraithlord conversion - although I'm not convinced by the logic of a 10-metre tall sniper wraithlord! I hadn't expected the wraithlord to be plastic, so my planned grot army will definitely now be looting one.

Altansar is the same as saim hann except that the helmet is black with a white face plate. Its also supposed to appear purplish, but it seems a pasty pinkish red to me.

Altansar scheme looks awesome, my centaur Wraithlord will wear it well.

in the codex it almost looks like altansar is painted with the magenta ink, it's got that purple hue to it maybe red gore and warlock mixed?

I picked up the codex yesterday and I've decided after almost 3 years without doing a new 40k army I'm going to go bananas with a self made craftworld (previously did Iyanden but I'm sick of trying to paint yellow well) as a modelling/painting project first and gaming second.
Thanks for the link Hellfury, some great ideas for conversions there.
