Hey,
I'm wondering how to build a decent looking Warpspider Exarch. The ordinary rank&file troops are ok imo, but the Exarch definitely need something other than waving powerblades, especially now that the new weapons are out.

So what are you ideas? How It could be done? And I'm looking for a rather easy non-metaldremel, self-sculpting convertion.
I know, lame, but I can't do that...

Thanks for any help and ideas!

There used to be (back on the old 40k Konversions website) a WS squad converted from Guardian plastics and the exarch backpack and guns. It looked really good and much more updated (i.e. in line with the rest of the 3rd ed. line). Sadly, I didn't save the images . That's probably your best place to start, though.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Well, it's not quite a 'a rather easy non-metaldremel, self-sculpting conversion' but in the back of one of the recent White Dwarf issues they show you how to do just that. Not sure what issue exactly, but it was one or two months ago.

Ironically, they do. So do cheats.
