Ugh, looks like I'll have to convert my own blitzer. I'm not digging it. I had high hopes for the blitzer, the whole idea is just crazy.
Rangers look good, though.

WoW! The Blitzer looks great! He looks very close to the drawing which made me choose Trollkin as faction for HORDES! Thanks PP! Am not to keen about the Rangers, Minis look ok but I don´t buy the rules. They remind me too much of Khador´s "Woodsman" scouts...

I love the Pyg gunner and his look of wild glee! I agree that something is not quite right about the Blitzer, but I can't figure out what and I have no idea about how to fix it.
Hmm, I didn't realize how small the Pyre troll was until this pic.
Out of all of it, the Pyg is my favorite.

The Blitzer is the one in chains with the Ace on his back. He runs around and knocks people around and the Pygmy Ace with the machine gun shootes em' up.

The rangers are fine, but I have to say I was really looking forward to the blitzer, and now I'm really disappointed... Perhaps when/if I see it in person I'll change my mind, but for now, bleh.

Man....at first I was skeptical...but I think I like the Blitzer. The claws are disgusting...but in a good way. Someday I am going to buy a Trollblood army. And I am going to play like I've got a pair, because I do. Yes, I've had a few drinks tonight. But I think I love Hordes. Isn't that what counts? I think we can all agree that miniature wargaming is probably one of the most kick-donkey hobbies (yes, I typed donkey.) On this Thanksgiving, let us all be grateful that we have so many wonderful options in the world of miniature wargames. Warhammer, Flames of War, Warmachine, Hordes, Urban War, Battletech.....the list goes on and on.

What is the thing on Wolf Blitzer's back? A gobbylin or the testicularly superior equivalent?
It's very nice. The rangers are neat, too.

Glad you liked it There is indeed. The site is run by two people and one of them is a PP Press Ganger. My only complaint is that the picture with the Circle Druids is a bit blurry. :-) I am really looking forward to those models.

There's just something about the way the gun is mounted on the troll that doesn't appeal to me. The idea of the "Pyg Ace" inspired images of machine gun turrets mounted on WWII figher planes. I guess I was imagining a more turret like scenario. I don't think the Pyg should just be able to stand around on the back of a rampaging dire troll, there should be some kind of restraint system in place.
I don't know, its not a very good pic, anyway, I'll reserve final judgement (which is made with a fist full of dollars) when I see a better release picture.

But...they're Pygmies. Pygmies, as everyone knows, are nature's best acrobats. Next to the wombat, of course.
I'm really digging the Cygnar Rangers though. Same with the Druids of Orboros. Such nice models.

I like the Blitzer!!! He's freak'n huge (check out the regular Dire Troll in the background).
I do think the pyg could be a bit more dramatic in his pose, he does look a little too comforable up there, but it's nothing a little saw, green stuff, and some pins couldn't fix.
He'll definitly become part of my troll blood horde.

Incorporating Wet-Blending

Hard to tell from the crummy pic (it makes the other trolls look pretty sorry, but they are nice models and beatifully painted), but I am not sure I like that Blitzer. It seems to "tall"- all the action is vertical. This makes it look a bit off balance and not as "massive" as say the squtter Mauler. The left hand posing also looks awkward. Other gripes- the leg posing makes him look kind of falling, the hands really make the legs look scrawny (the pose of the Mauler really mitigated this), and the chain looks TERRIBLE- no sense of mass or weight.
On the up side, the ace looks cool and that gun should rock with the barrel drilled and suitable rust/corrosion/oil staining. I am curious how it stays on Mr. troll's back, though. It look like it would slide off!
Those rangers are quite lanky! Nice poses, though.
