The militia had been tracking down a colossus for several weeks (see CHO 27/10). Lieutenant Rinter Huck could smell the hunt was coming to an end. Well smell…In fact, the track had led him, and his men, down into the city sewers where he tried to smell as little as he possibly could. How surprised he was when he finally cornered his prey: the witnesses had described a tall individual wearing animal hides; but the fury who attacked his men was obviously a woman!
The origins of this illustration are pretty vague but you can witness some interesting details of the peculiar anatomy of the prowler of the abyss about to strike a guard of Kaïber.
