I'm in the process of converting a Daemon Prince for my Black Legion using a Balrog model.  I'm going to replace the flaming  whip on my model with an axe to represent the Dread Axe.  My question to you is - What axe will look suitably scary as a replacement?

Privateer: Madrak's axe
GW: The Dragon Ogre's have good axes.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I like the looks of the Doombull left arm.  But since I'm not ordering anything until later please keep the suggestions coming

It's the perfect excuse to paint Big Boris mk II...or go nuts with a three inch Netheraxe =)

Edit: Some of the Confrontation axes would be perfect, the ones on the Kelt Sessair Minotaur of the Plains and Wolfen Repentant in particular.

Edit2: Oh, just wanted to check that you're aware that PP recently (finally!) started a bitz service. You know, in case you were living in a cave...on the moon...or, uh, something. Yeah. =P

I think that netheraxe would be perfect for a balrog sized demon prince, I went with the GW metal Bloodthirster axe on my standard demon prince. it looks about right for a large axe on that size of body. but balrog's are even bigger, plus the arm is attached to the axe and wouldn't match a balrog arm well I don't think.

Do not use the CLEAR dice!

Dear Whiny Space Marine Players,
you get 3+ armor saves on all your troops (save scouts), Assault cannons, a huge assortment of vehicles and weapons, arguably one of the best if not THE best tank in the game, funny helmets, and a partrige in a pear tree.

suck it up, space marines. You're the emperor's chosen superhuman warriors. stop whining like a guardsmen and take it like a superman!
