I am working on my lustwing and have always loved the blue paint scheme that the Violators had. I swore that if I were to ever play a chaos legion, I would use this scheme.

What I am asking is any info regarding the violators found in Ben Counter's book "Daemonworld". This book seems damn hard to find.

I hear things about electricity being used to stimulate them and a sort of purplish ichor oozing from between their armor plates.

Does the book answer why this is?

This has an impact on my modelling of this traitor legion, and would like to know more about them that could be used for my modelling. Any further info would be most kindly accepted and appreciated.

Would anyone be so kind as to shed light on this for me.

All the book says in regard to there armour is "Their armour was pale blue, often stained with the juices of there bodies that ran from the joints or riven with battle scarts worn proudly" the book mentions them doing ritual scaruing before a war/fight. They are in league with slaanesh so who knows what the
"juices" they refer to are.

there were 400 stationed on that world as an honour gaurd for the demon quenn. there leader there was called Demertrius who is a drednought with AC and neurol whip/lash. He gets eaten by a booldthirster that he was fighting.

Hope that helps, anything else you need to know I will try and answer.

Its not explained. However the main character, the barbarian warlord takes a violator pistol as a trophy and soon drops it because its still oozing ichor on its own. I guess if we knew we'd be oozing ichor ourselves. The violators also had daemonically possessed thunderhawks.
