Not sure if this has made the rounds yet.  It's nice to see the old school stuff make a come back now and again!

I like it. Very much so.
I guess this is tying in with the Death Corps releases?
Any sign of trial rules yet?

I like it. Well I might not have any tanks in my Death Korp army.

the rules will most likely appear when the model goes on preorder.

Looks bomb! The model does... the rules leave something to be desired... but I think that's always been the intention.

Well they just released enough new stuff to make a dedicated IG player need to look for a second job.

I think the Vanquisher is my favorite of the DK stuff so far except for the huge GORGON ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT infantry carrier.

I swear FW has to be one of the slowest commercial sites on the internet. Anyhow, this is something I do like, though the price is going to be too much I know. Rules don't seem terribly bad either.

Is it showing my age that I still have models with conversion beamers, and power armored marines with needlers, hand flamers and autoguns? (no mole mortars though)

Amongst the Stars, In the Night

Ooh, I just thought of something, for those that don't want to pay the steep price FW is sure to want, Italery has a great 1/35 Nebelwerfer (WW2 German towed 8-barrel rocket launcher) that could be used with only the tiniest of modifications (new wheels, even then the ones with the kit could be fine). Hmmm....

nice model. I wasn't around for the early editions of the game, but it is nice to see old weapons become new again.

Go FW keeping the old skool around. In the end, I prefer the Korps heavy mortar model & rules-wise, but still quite cool. Also, the Korps tanks, while the individual gubbins and such are pretty cool (love that filter system), end up looking a tad too busy, given the generally efficient / Germanic aesthetic of the rest of the line ...

Thanks for the scoop!

There is an advantage the Thudd-Guns have over the Heavy Mortar batteries...each Thudd Gun can be used as Independent Unit

They don't mention it, but I'm assuming the Thudd Gun Battery is a Heavy slot and has Armor Value = 10. That has to be it.

I got the NewsLetter as I was chatting with Russ yesterday late afternoon. So it was sent.

FW has really outdone themselves with the new Krieg lineup. I'm not really interested in purchasing/playing DKoK but every single model/mini they've released so far has been well-detailed, interesting, and IMO more true to the Imperial Guard fluff than anything GW releases.

I will be purchasing almost all of the new "Renegade"/Traitor Guard stuff though. Very cool...

Damn

Maybe my work are blokcing it or something...

Wonderful models though and really awesome. Gonna have to buy DKOK even though it will kill my wallet.

Spoke to a guy from forgewolrd over the phone today and they reckon command squads for DKOK will be out early/mid next year along with IA5

Yeah? So when are the Tyranids going to get their 2nd ed stuff back? We want the good venom cannons, not these cheap crappy malmart knock offs.
