Not much to say.
I took Mech Thousand Sons

I thought I could sit back and out-shoot him (Yes, I know…Thousand Sons out shooting Tau) But he really only had 3 Broadsides that could really hurt my vehicles. But I had such bad luck the first round, (For bad luck I mean things like twin linked lascannons missing, and rolling a lot of 1’s to wound when they did hit. Then he destroyed my rhino and I failed 7 saves etc.), so I panicked and tried to rush him.
He then blew my demon prince away with a railcannon, and killed a lot of TS marines. He was way to fast for me, so I jumped back into my rhinos and ran for my life. In the mean time, I killed a kroot squad and he left some suits exposed to where I could kill them, but at the cost of my LT and chosen squad.
At this point it looks like I am getting killed (and I was) but it was not nearly as bad as it looked. I still had a lot of expensive vehicles, and he only hurt my marines, and had not wiped them out. I thought he moved up one of his crisis suit teams just to give me something to kill, so I did not feel bad, a kind act of charity if you will. Well, I still had one squad of TS marines that were still functional, and I charged some kroot that were near the suits, and then consolidated into the crisis suits, wiping them out a turn later. (That squad was my hunted choice and was worth about 500 VP's)
In the mean time my mutated hulled, possessed, Predator was in a gunnery duel with his Broadsides. I thought that was a battle that I could not win, but the broadsides were busy killing the Demon Prince, my dreadnought, and some other things, and by the time they ran out of shield drones on turn #4, they were unable to kill the predator, and he finished off the Broadsides in turn #5.
So at the end of the game, he killed a couple of rhinos, a dreadnought, my Chosen & Lt, a Demon Prince, and chewed up a couple of TS marine squads.
I killed 2 Crisis Suit teams (and double points for one being the hunted selection) the Broadside team, and misc. Kroot.
The game ended in a tie with both of us scoring about 1000 points.
<strong style="">Game #2 was against Russ using Black Templars in 3 LR Crusaders. [/b]
<strong style=""> [/b]He went first and drove forward and popped smoke. In my turn I killed 2 LRC with my first 2 shots with glancing “6”s. The rest of the game was a mopping up action.

<strong style=""> [/b]I went first again and I killed most of his Oblits. They did nothing to me in the return fire. His mistake was that he counted on his oblits for anti-tank, and his troops for anti-infantry. After I killed most of his oblits, he had a lot of trouble killing my vehicles.
Turn 2 I rhino rushed him and wiped out 2 of his marine squads, and with shooting I killed his dreadnought, and killed the remaining oblits. My demon prince assaulted one of his defilers, and killed it. Bottom of turn 2 he does not have much shooting left, but his Terminator Lord assaults my Statured DP. His Lord has a chainfist, so I go first and cut him down when I do 4 wounds that he did not make any saves for.
He then concedes on the bottom of turn 2.
I liked the tournement a lot (Not just because I won). But it was well run, a lot of good players, and all of the tables had a lot of terrain on them.
