Hi guys firstly The guys and me over at heresy-online.net would like to say thanks for all the feedback you guys gave us in our opening weeks, its greatly appreciated. Its helped us get a site were really proud off and we hope one that people enjoy using. Weve made lots of changes based on the feedback gained by you and others. We've still got lots of things we'd like to do and are still open to suggestions so check out our progress so far and let us know what you think.

Secondly there have been issues with other forums and i thought i'd let everyone know what that was all about, although i dont think you guys had the same problems, if you did the hopefully you can let me know.

On several message boards PMs and were sent to members of the boards that did not orginate from any of the mods/admin of heresy-online.net. We received a pm from one of our members who has been "over enthusiatic" to say the least, he was hoping we would make him a mod if he got us enough new members.

Basically when we first began playing with the forum, myself and Jezlad[the real one not the 14 year old who signed up in his name on a few of the forums] sent similar messages to about 10 people each, who we already knew and had interacted with on other forums over a long period of time. I.e. the sort of guys you will recognise their username because you always talk in each others threads. We asked these guys to come have a look, let us know what they think and how we can improve the forum etc. This guys had edited the original a bit and sent it out to users of the forums. A final warning has been issued to this guy and we do not condone his actions in anyway. Especially since he has signed up with Jezlads hadle on most of the forums. he even offered in his pm to us to sign up again as "leech" if we needed him to get more members.

Obviously we want to get members and expand, but we at heresy-online.net do not feel that this type of spamming is the way to acheive the goals we have set for ourselves. We would be happy to see more of you guys coming and having a look at our forum and giving suggestions etc but do not want to cause any offense or start any sort of turf war with any of the exsisting 40k communities.

If anyone recieves pms originating after today please pm me and let me know so i can take the appropriate action.
