I recently played a game where a Necron Lord with Destroyer body and (I think) a Resurrection Orb and Phylactery charged my Obliterators.  I put 4 x S10 wounds on the Lord.  I can't remember if he had an Invulnerable save or not, but he took multiple wounds and was ~20" from the nearest other friendly model (Necron).  Is it legal for him to make his We'll Be Back roll?

Necron lords don't need anyone around him to make a WBB roll. Also, Necron Lords can only take the WBB roll if they are within 6'' of a Res Orb (or if they have one) if they were wounded by a weapon that allows no armor saves or 2x Toughness.

So to answer your question... Yes he can make the WBB roll.
