  I've recently started playing orks and was wondering about the Forcefield?

  Does the forcefield have to touch just 1 model in the unit to get the cover save or hull down or does the forcefield have to cover  the model in order for it to get the effect of the cover?

I believe the Forcefield is treated somewhat like area terrain, and thus a whole mob will benefit from the cover save if at least half of their models are fully inside.

Just to clarify on what Phryxis said, it isn't just area terrain that requires more than half the models to be inside it, that rule is for all cover in 4th edition.

Thus, if more than half the models are covered by the KFF then the unit gets the cover save. If half or less aren't, then they don't.
