I love the ctrl alt del and have for a long time, loved the previous warhammer storyline but it's the best Dan Abnett book ever in his hands! http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comics/20070202.jpg

The Eisenhorn trilogy was a good set of stories. He even defeats a freakin' Chaos Titan, for crying out loud! But, sadly, it is still only second best as long as there are Gaunt's Ghosts stories out there...

Stay far away from that trilogy about the Inquisitor War or whatever it was. The writing was awful and the story had nothing to do with an inquisitor war. It was like one of those really bad RPG sessions where the game gets out of hand and the characters become almost godlike it what they can accomplish. He even had a pet Imperial Fist following him around like a puppy dog. Did I mention that there was really nothing about any inquisitor war in the books?

You mean aside from the personal war between Jaq Draco and the Ordo Hydra? The first book was great; the other two not at all. Rumour abounds that Ian Watson didn't want to write them sequels at all, but was contractually obliged. Goodness knows.

Thanks for the link, deitpike. CAD is pretty good...not as good as Penny Arcade or Dork Tower but still pretty good.

I love the Inquisition war, though they left out Watson's Space Marine book which included the great bit where the Imperial Fist Boarding Torpedoes are shot up the spinchers of Tyranid bioships.
Ahhhh...
Now that's comedy.

Don't forget the Space Zoats! I almost feel sorry for the kidzehs nowadays. Then they slate Ian Watson. And I realise they deserve Mechanical GeeGees.

After reading CAD, you will see that the one roommate (his name is not coming to me) is into 40K. There were a couple of issues where he was playing some kid and the kid started crying when he some of his models were taken out of the game. Funny stuff.

Lucas is the one who played 40K. He showed Ethan how to play and their adventures at the shop was a pretty funny set of comics.
