FOW MEGA BATTLE 2ND SATURDAY EACH MONTH

One BIG table, two sides! No prisoners! Can you handle the carnage?

$6.00 per person. 600, 1200 & 1500 point build total. Have a list for each!

Winning side gets a free $9.00 booster each!

This saturday was very busy at Empire with a 40K event AND our FOW Monthly all on the same day I only got this one picture of the FOW action ....Ill have to make it up next month on the 2nd sat. of the month.....

The mega battle was great. I had a 1200 point soviet army. My alli on the right had a 1200 point US infantry platoon. We were fighting 2,400 points of german armour.

We did not get of to the best start. We were failing firepower roles left and right. We were also taking heavy casualties on the left flank. We pulled through and took the objective. all we needed to do now was clear it from the taint of the enemy.

We then captured both objectives but the enemy contested both also. It was going back and forth and as more casualties were taken, more troops would swarm around the germans side, objectives.

We eventually ran out of time and no one took either objaective so the germans one due to they had killed more platoons.

It was a great mega battle over all and I hope to see lot of people at the next one. Its the Kurst mega battle that empire has each year. Last year we had one big table with ten people on each side! Its Febuary 24 on a saturday, hope to see you there.

Bummer we couldn't make that one. One week until spring break, but we're definitely on for the Kursk event. Seems my evil spawn are contemplating teaming up as Germans for this one.

Yes, the three Georges are a definite. And I'm putting anyone that can't make it up for adoption and bringing a dog in their place. This is ridiculous! What is it with kids these days, and all their fancy "school"? Sheesh.

Hey bob,

I am selling my soviets for a couple reasons.

My painting standards have really improved and I wanted to start a new army to paint.
and the germans always win the mega battle... lol jk.
