There are two main types of books:

1. The Main Rule Book (hardcover), or the mini rulebook which was a free upgrade.

2. Intel Books (Ostfront, Afrika and Festung Europa), which contain the various list compositions and points for each unit.

Not sure, but I *think* you were asking about the list composition and unit points to build a list with. You want a rulebook, plus one of the intel books.

Other types of books are coming out too, but those are more scenario related. You'll still want 1 & 2 above.
