Seems like Privateer posted these pics and pulled them almost immediately, although it seems that the direct links to the pics still work.

Hey, those are kinda neat and different. Definitely digging them meself, and agreed with Syr on the need for a minion warlock. Maybe only thing I don't like about these guys are the "huggy arms, taking a dump legs" on the leader o_O

FISHMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About freakin time somebody made some decent Fishmen that don't just look like lizardmen with fins. Reaper's updated Slithe look promising, but there aren't enough yet.

Thanks for the post!

A bit of information has been added:

Drawn from the marshy swamps of western Immoren, Bog Trogs are fierce tribal amphibians and masters of ambush. Camouflaged among the wetlands, the trogs strike from the flanks with little forewarning. Recent struggles have brought them out from their bogs as they follow their shamanistic leaders and ruthlessly attack the enemies of their masters.

Bog Trog

"Vaguely humanoid creatures who resemble a cross between a fish and a reptile, they typically dwell in swamps and aquatic areas. Little is known about them since they are both masters of camouflage and violenty territorial. Few who tresspass on their habitat live to tell about it.

Their extraordinary camouflage abilities come in part from nature and in part from technology. Bog Trogs have the ability to alter the color of their skin, which is naturally dark green or brown, to blend in with the surroundings. This ability is further enhanced by parkas who acts much like Gobber ponchos, adding to their ability to hide.

Bog Trogs have been known to have long standing feuds with other swamp dwelling creatures like Gatormen and Swamp Gobbers."

I like them. I love the shotgun blast we've recieved in terms of previews from Privateer Press. These along with the Farrow are classic fantasy races that have rarely seen justice in miniature form.

That being said, I would have prefered my Fishmen Ambushers a bit more sleek and agile (something both fish and ambushers would have in common) and less beefy.

But what better enemies for Captain Shae and the crew of the SS Evanescence to fight?

Actually, that's a good question; can anyone tell what size bases those are? I'm guessing smalls, which would make them less beefy than trollkin (and farrow?), while somewhat beefier than regular critters/humans...

Saweet! One could now do a Bayou Badass Army of the Apocalypse now! Between these and the Pirates, I see some Warmachine figures coming into my possession in the near future. There, there little wallet, I'm sure we can get Malfred to turn more tricks for us.

Convert some of those Crocodile Games Sebeki to look more "Iron Kingdoms" give them some "counts as" rules and you could have a Fishmen vs. Gatormen Hordes brawl!

I mean, just look at the arms on that thing.  He could bench press a 'gator, a pot a'simmerin' shreemp gumbo, and his dear mama all at the same time and still slap his sister on the rear while he's doing it.

I assume the art preceeded the minis so I can't fault the sculpter in this case.  They're ripped.  Each is equipped with a six-pack of Pabst.  Don't get me wrong, I like them, I'm just confused over the incredible machismo that radiates from these bayou-bred badasses.

Gatormen vs. Fishmen? Someone's been in Florida too long...

I hope they do Gatormen too...
As to the base size, I'm guessing small since the unit pic shows six and the other shows two. Just like every other small based unit. Mad base units are in threes and singles. IIRC.
I'm doing swamp bases for Cryx. I'll be an expert once these guys come around.

I have nothing useful to add.

I think they they are Small based models, but Medium based models can come in larger squads as well. Tharn Ravagers form units of 4-6.

Yep, but if the second pic is the contents of the boxed set it means that the minimum squad size is five plus a leader.  That is usually the minimum squad size for units on small bases.  The minimum squad size for units on medium bases is usually three plus a leader.
