In the new U.S. White Dwarf on page 26

"Dark Eldar wyches $35"

Things are looking up for that DE codex. Will this be online only like the rest of the line? Why release this so close to the DA releases? and due to lack of inside conections, dose any one got pic's and/or discriptions?

Sadly, it is just a repackaging of the wyches, not a redo of the models.

I am sure it will include many of the wych weapon options and such. I am sure it is for the purpose of selling models that have been lying dormant for quite sometime.

My sources tell me that wyches are going plastic, and they are getting rid of older stuff and allowing some of the DE favorite unit to be available in suitable quantities.

Most of the DE are being remodeled and are in the pipe as it were, so Orks who deserve it, and DE who really need a remodel are up. GW said it was never happy with the 20 minute modelling of the DE line, and even though some of them are great, many could use a rework. Especially after the awesome new Eldar figs.

This isnt a new codex coming out or anything. this is a simple repackaging of older models to sell old stock.

Man, plastic wyches could be the sexiness, and would actually be a pretty instant seller with the slavering hordes of man-gamers out there (myself included). Just please please please keep the percentage of man-wyches way down, like maybe just the one Gimp that runs about with the ladies in his leather zippy mask ...

This is good news. I probably won't play DE without a major change in style, but the plastics will make wonderful conversion fodder for Eldar models.

if they stop the raider rush as you say then dark eldar will be getting 3+ saves 5 bs and str 6 weapons across the board.. oh and disintigrators will get rending as well

give me a break, i think it is way to early to begin the rumor mill speculation when the last thing i heard from gw direct was late 08 or late 09

and for wyches i made my own a year ago so unless they are new models then ehhhh not impressed

Yeah. They really need to repackage the chris fitzpatrick Dark Elf wyches as dark eldar wyches. I havent seen an actual dark eldar wych in ages. No one uses those anymore they all use dark elf wyches.

the old scuplts are pure "meh". Repackaging them into a brand new and "improved" 10 wych squad isnt really groundbreaking enough to warrant news.

but alot of people want to think they are releasing new plastics this summer so the rumours fly. (though I would appreiate plastic wyches being released, its just not happening until the new codex will be released)

don't say no one.. the local guys around here have more wyches than they know what to do with.. (I know cause I am responsible for about 300 wyches alone.. lol)

If they do anything too the DE Please make scourges have the option of Diss that would improve them so much (hvy1/ Assaultt3) would be nice . But plastic wytches would be nice ( nightmare too put together( thinking seven piece plastic model, head, upper torso, lower torso, arms, legs).). Yes i hope they only put in a few male wytches too dont need a sausagefest going on in the raiders.....

Wow the screwjob the orks just gets better and better with time. This is also coming from a DE player. BTW change the Grotesque models. It doesnt sit well with my opponents when they lose to models with arse-less chaps.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you there, chuck. I hope they make the wyches ALL male with only the squad leaders female. They should just go ahead and make the dark eldar the most unabashedly gayest army EVAR!!! Afterall, unlike the repressed craftworld eldar, the dark eldar embrace their true nature!
