I am building a 13th company army. They are modeled to look like they were tainted in the warp. I have all ready converted all the wolfen, but I am unable to find a dog or wolf-like model that looks chaotic enough. Flsh hounds are an obvious choice, but I find them hard to paint and too much money. Dark eldar warp beasts just look silly. Any suggestions?

There are the Chaos Hounds models, which have big nasty spikes coming out of their sides, or you could use dire wolves from the vampire counts line. Lastly if you want cheap, you could buy the twilight games Bag o' Zombie dogs. Just a few Ideas

Reaper has some dire wolves, as I recall. I think Heresy also does some Ghostbusters-esque hellhounds.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil |

I am finishing a beasts of chaos army. I converted everything except my beastherds from gors and ungors. I wanted them to look less chaotic and more greek mythology. centaurs, satyrs, minotaurs. Anyway I just used the wolf models that come with goblin wolf riders. They are cheap (compaired to chaos hounds) Plastic is easiest to convert, they are GW models so they can be used at events.

Off the beaten track, you might consider the Abyssmal Ravager from Chainmail (D&D)
