What the hell is a Dwarf Dwarf Army?  It sounds fearsome.  I want one!

?

When are these things supposed to come out?

Isn't Alliance listing their products six month before they come out?

I'm confused.

Is that a re-release of the miner regiment, or new plastics? Given that there are plastic miners in BfSP ...

And it looks like they broke up the old hammerer/ironbreaker boxes to make $20 blisters? Or could these be new too? I'm guessing old ones repackaged ... But then what's the $22 dwarf lord?!

Too many questions

Although I may be wrong, it sounds to me like they're repackaging the Dwarves like the Empire Greatswords (five miniatures per box). Don't know about the Dwarf Lord, but it could possibly be a plastic set to be released in conjunction with this summer's campaign.

I think that these are new plastic miners.  There's a thread on Warseer:

Things that get listed on Alliances Website are 2-3 months out. Generally they appear 1 month before their preorder magazine hits the rack and those items are 2 months out.

As for 40k I dunno. DA WERE up there but seem to be pulled. Also notice how the new Foundation series paints are not up there but are due next month. Since Alliance is a whole saler there might be issues where GW wants it's primo stuff to be released through IT first (since no preorders) and THEN wholesalers get to announce it. That's just my musings though, no facts to back it up.

In the US, everything comes out at once. When a product has a release date, that's when mailorder will start shipping it, Alliance can take orders from retailers, and when retailers can place direct orders with GW. Most retailers will recieve the product on Wed or Thurs if they order monday, from either GW or Alliance.

Alliance produces both a monthly catalog for new product, and a quarterly catalog listing all it's products. What Ghaz posted is the information that was just added to the computer, and will appear in the quarterly catalog, and become part of the Alliance data base.

The 'Dwarf Dwarf army', happens because of the way Alliance types in the information. This is generally done by someone who isn't familiar with GW. First they put in the game system, (WFP, WarhammerFantasy, Fantasy, Warhammer - depending on who is typing it in), next they type the army its for, ( and if it's Ogres that could be Ogre, Ork, Orgre, or Orc-someone did a bad replacement of an OR string and it replaced things globally), then the product name, which in this case is 'Dwarf Army'. And you get a double dwarf in the listing.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Dear Whiny Space Marine Players,
you get 3+ armor saves on all your troops (save scouts), Assault cannons, a huge assortment of vehicles and weapons, arguably one of the best if not THE best tank in the game, funny helmets, and a partrige in a pear tree.

suck it up, space marines. You're the emperor's chosen superhuman warriors. stop whining like a guardsmen and take it like a superman!

Not sure about the miners, but I bet the ~$20 are 5-man boxed sets.  They've been out the in the UK for a little while now.  Nice if you want to make 25 man regiments, but inconvenient to retailers (more shelf space for the same item) unless this means that they are doing away with the 10 man boxed sets.
