Im tryin out a guard list thats based on a 'bombardment' type strategy. Its loaded with ordinance weapons for heavy bombardment of troops and the grenadiers for doing away with tanks.

Imperial Guard - 750

HQ - Junior Officer - 40 points
 - Bolter - 1 point
 - Heavy Bolter - 10 points

  Total - 51 points

Troops - Grenadiers x8 - 80 points
 - Meltagun x2 - 20 points
 - Chimera - 70 points
 - Hull Multi-laser + Heavy Bolter - 20 points

  Total - 200 points

Troops - Grenadiers x8 - 80 points
 - Plasma Guns x2 - 20 points

  Total - 100 points

Heavy Support - Basalisk Omega Pattern - 100 points

as everything else is easily movable, why not make the HQ into a special weapons platform, or it might work now as defense for the basilisks...

EDIT: remove the points costs for individual items, or a mod will just go through and remove all your pointscosts. GW does not like individual points costs
