I've seen their stuff up close and the sculpting is excellent. Their Wild West figs are really cool too and would make for some interesting Necromunda or 40K Ordo conversions.

Or get them an buy Gloire from Rattrap Productions and the upcoming Pirate expansion and play some Pirate games. The Tombstone range also work really well, adn are made for IIRC, the Legends of the Old West game.

Try something new... there is more than GW games out there :-)

Force of habit. Prior to the GW webstore crackdown, Dakka was mainly a Games Workshop board and those of us who wanted to post other manufacturers' products, kind of had to sneak them in by pointing out how they could be used as proxies.

Personally, I'm not in the market for anymore games, but I'm all for picking up minis to shoehorn into the games I do have.

.45 Adventures, Gloire and their expansions are fun games and usually only require 4 or 5 minis a side. So its quite easy to start playing the game if you are interested in any of the genres that they cover.

They did, but that "Bad boy" biker sure is bad ass and has a biker babe to boot. Probably good replacement for some ganger-styled Rough Riders too. I dig 'em. The pirates too.

Saw this on TMP earlier. I've always wanted their Chef and Madhatter figs now this is simply more reason to buy from them.

I may just use those Poi-rates as alt gunmages for my cygnar.

That biker rules.

I've been admiring the WW stuff for a while, but have had no need to buy 'em meself. But they are cool--especially the preacher...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I think we need to write a nice letter to Disney, thanking them for Pirates of the Caribbean and inspiring every mini company to create cool pirate mini's. (It was announced at Adepticon that GW would have some new ones soon too.)

It's all good, ya can't 'ave too many pirates on the seas laddy. Aaargh.

no nice letters to THE DEVIL!

must get some of the dual pistol wielding pirate.

Do not use the CLEAR dice!

Dear Whiny Space Marine Players,
you get 3+ armor saves on all your troops (save scouts), Assault cannons, a huge assortment of vehicles and weapons, arguably one of the best if not THE best tank in the game, funny helmets, and a partrige in a pear tree.

suck it up, space marines. You're the emperor's chosen superhuman warriors. stop whining like a guardsmen and take it like a superman!

Shhh... We don't need The Mouse sniffing around and slapping our favorite cottage industries with IP infringement suits. Then again, I'm probably just a little shellshocked. Disney's IP lawyers probably aren't as rabid as GW's.

Hehehe, Disney's IP lawyers don't NEED to be rabid. They already won.

I like the pirates and the biker, but have you seen the Iraqi and US Marines minis?

Why would you take a poo whilst holding a gun?

And why is this guy executing his CO?

Yeah, I don't mind the marines. Their detail is a little flat, but they should paint and camo up well. (Finding good 28mm modern figures seems to be ..very difficult.) But the insurgents aren't my favorite figures at all. The fact that every single one of them is barefoot is enough on it's own to turn me off buying any of them.
