Not bad looking. Sure look a lot better than the Battletech Clix stuff in my opinion. They have a decent look to the walker style models so far. Curious to see the Red stuff.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die. |

Nice. Like most of the AT-43 stuff I've seen, this has the feel of having actually taken form within a specific environment. You know? It just feels "real" to somewhere specific. Which is the final test of any good figure, IMO.

Looks crazy top-heavy, but in a rock solid type of way. I dig it, very 'real' looking as Tinfoil notes. None of this aesthic design nonsense - Boss Salvage

I like this actually. I wasn't too keen on the first firetoad design but this is a lot better. Having said that I still won't buy one. I have real issues with the bendy style plastic and the prepainted nature of the minis. Converting is a major aspect of the hobby for me and having the paint peel and fleck off when I'm trying to saw or file into a mini is a real problem. Even if you over spray it it will leave nastyu surface texture.

The plastic is only bendy on the soldiers and there for a reason, ask DE players how their spikes fare...... The paint will not peel of since it is a baked on 1/10mm thin layer on the mini. So there is also no texture after basecoating it. Tryed it myself.
Release date seems to be June in France..... price probably even with the Wraith Golgoth.

Now the Duke is after him, so he's running. *looks around to see if anyone else knows what Jester is talking about* I dig it. My only beef with the models so far is the amount of flash baked under the paintjob. Ít's a pain taking them apart and cleaning them. But the good news is that they take primer FINE and lost no surface detail. The original surface IS part of the paintjob anyway (as the colours are cast on). My Fire Toad repaint lost no detail, and honestly, I had a lot of fun painting it. I just look at these figs as those models you rescue from a friend who didn't paint them very well. Like the Island of Lost Toys... they need love too. But they have to pay.

Can you scrath the paint off successfully to clean them up? And does the plastic take green stuff and brown stuff okay?

Flash is not really an issue, most players won´t even bother to remove it. If you are like me who wants them real tidy a set of needle files and a scalpel will do the job. Rather easy to remove the flash. Since the paint is baked on it does not really scraoe off. A little touching up after cleaning it won´t take more than 5-10 minutes per mini.
The plastic works with white milliput, so I guess yes.

I certainly hope that this level of "detail" is going to be improved when the Confrontation/Rag'Narok pre-painteds start showing up. Regardless of what all the past, current and future Dark Eldar players think...

Sorry, for the typo, should read no texture problems after coating, all the details are there.
Oh, and thanks for the SPAM, nothing to say but posting stupid stuff, you must feel great, and not only in this thread.

I have a "long time lurker" but now I have had about all I can stomach of this "forum". While some can do nothing but consistantly put down negative comments if it doesn't agree with their own, I value Duncan's comments. Did it ever occur to some people that what AT-43 brings to the table might be of a value to someone else? I'm sorry if some people don't have the time nor skill paint and model decently or to those people who just want to play a game since that is what they enjoy and have time for? Since, I know people are interested in learning more about "insert game name here", please don't waste our time with these stupid, childish, boorish and condescending remarks.
