I'll be running two combat patrol tournaments in the open gaming area at Baltimore Games Day.
The first is from 10:30 (10:20 if possible) to about 1:45. The last is from 2:15 to 5:30.
The tournaments are free with Games Day admission tickets. All of the scenarios are my own creation, as is the way prizes are given out. There will be five different scenarios. The last scenario of tournament 1 and the first of tournament 2 are the same.
I think the two tournament idea is pretty cool for GD because that gives you some free time to enjoy some of the other stuff and then a good quick tournament to get the juices flowing. And, hey, it is FREE (or at least no extra cost).
This will be the first time this event has been run under GW's banner, so no promises that it will work out just like I advertise, but the plan is this. 4x4 tables, with dense city terrain. Prizes awarded to the overall winner and other prizes determined at random, but based on the number of battlepoints that you earned in the three games. There is enough space for 20 participants in each tournament.
E-mail me at dbstrimple@charter.net to register or ask questions. Until GW gets the info up on their website, I'll also e-mail you the tournament documents. Tell me which tournament you wish to attend. If you wish to be in both, specify which is your preference. I am going to hold people to one tournament until I see that the tournaments have space. That is to say you can get in BOTH tournaments if there is room.
