Just thought I'd drop this in here...

Had an interesting situation come up in the doubles tournament on Friday, where the opponent had Eldrad who can roll 3 and pick the lowest two for Psychic tests, and my teammate had the Farseer wargear that makes you roll 3 and add them together.

No one was sure, but Phil Kelly was there signing Eldar codexes (and he played the ringer army for the Sat/Sun games) so they brought him over.  He says they cancel each other out.

I know there's nothing in the rulebooks about this, just thought I'd pass out the info.  Oh, and they have finished the Eldar FAQ, just haven't posted it yet (no Eldar jetbike fleet of foot for you!).

Sounds like the conclusion that we came to here. It seemed the only reasonable way of dealing with it.

Thank goodness.
Not only for having the Eldar FaQ done, but for the news of the damned jetbike fleet nerfed. It may be legal by RaW, but it makes no sense envisioning an autarch running with a Jetbike... even if it isnt overpowered.

Now,  I am very curious as to how they ruled on the Swooping Hawk "trampoline" debate... thats the most niggly ruling for the eldar codex besides how vibrocannons are actually supposed to work.

I hope we dont have to wait 2 more years for them to post it.

Now to get how it interacts with Shadow of the Warp....

He also said the Avatar is supposed to be a scoring unit much like the Hive Tyrant when it came up for the cleanse game.

Don't think the ruling on the Avatar was necessary, as it is not listed as an IC. Nice to have game designers in agreement though..
