Hi,

I will be travelling to the San Jose (Campbell) area for a few days starting tomorrow.  I would like to bring an army to play a few games of 40K.  The closest hobby store to where I'm staying at is D&J Hobbies.

Please let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks !!

Unless something drastic has changed since I last visited my home town store (I grew up a few blocks from there), D&J has a table but it certainly isn't well set-up to hold games (and I've never really seen people playing there).

Try to find Game Kastle (I think it's called), I believe that's where a Bay Area group of players mainly plays at. You can also visit their home forum at: "www.fighting-hellfish.com" and post a note looking for a game.

From their last forum bulletin, Thursday 6:30 pm is their weekely meeting day.

Thanks Yak,

I'm going to stay within 2 blocks of D&J. Last time I went to D&J there were tables but I didn't see anyone playing.

I'll try the Fighting Hellfish.

There's a hordes tournament on saturday at game kastle. The hellfish all play thursday nights at game kastle, its the last real game store in the san jose area. (D&J has one table, I've never seen anyone play there, and the gamesworkshop store... well i see kids there on my way to the movie theatre :p)
I have seen local GK players playing 40k on saturdays, I'll probably be hanging out on saturday taking notes on hordes.
